Today it has launched 10.or G with 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass screen, Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform, Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) that will be upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo), Dual 13-megapixel rear (RGB + Monochrome) camera with phase detection auto focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that also has an LED flash. Gionee M7 with 6.01-inch FHD+ Full screen display, dual rear cameras and M7 Power with 5000mAh battery announced

Gionee just has announced M7, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘M Series’ smartphone in China as it had promised along with the Big Gold Steel 2 smartphone, which will be introduced as the M7 Power in Thailand later this week. The M7 packs a 6.01-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 Full screen AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture depth information.

Former Apple supplier Imagination Technologies to be acquired by Canyon Bridge for £550 million

Imagination Technologies has announced that CBFI Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of funds managed by Canyon Bridge Capital Partners has agreed to buy the company for £550 million (US$742.5 million) in cash, after 3 months it had put the company for sale. This comes after the China-backed buyout fund Canyon Bridge Capital Partners was barred last week by U.S. President Donald Trump from buying a U.S. chip maker. Xiaomi sold record 1 million smartphones within 48 hours in India

Xiaomi today announced that it has sold over 1 million or 10 lakh smartphones in India within 48 hours between 20 to 22 September during festive sales, selling  300 smartphones every minute in an average. Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Preferred Partner stores, Large Format Retail partners, Mi Home stores and mi.com contributed to this milestone.
