Apple could acquire music recognition app Shazam for about $400 million

Apple is on the verge of buying Shazam Entertainment Ltd. which would value the company at $404 Million according to the sources close to the matter and the official announcement could be made as soon as Monday, reports TechCrunch. Shazam recognition app is already integrated into Siri and was valued at about $1.02 billion in its last funding round back in 2015. The Qualcomm-made audio DAC supports playback of formats at up to 384KHz and 32 bits, including the obscure DSD format. Earlier this year it introduced Aqstic USB-C Headset Code WHS9420, single chip USB audio SoC platforms designed specifically for USB-C connected audio devices. OPPO launched the F5, a selfie-focused smartphone with 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen display last month, and as promised, it has launched the F5 Youth smartphone, a cheaper version of the phone. It has a similar display and comes with A.I. beauty recognition technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly and also offers bokeh effect along with Face unlock, but this has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
