Vivo X27 Pro with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera with flash and X27 announced

Vivo has introduced X27 and X27 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The X27 has almost similar specifications as the  V15 Pro that was launched in India recently, including a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 91.64% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 675 or 710 depending on the model with 8GB of RAM, however this comes with a 48MP rear camera with Sony IM586 sensor, 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and a 13-megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It has a 16-megapixel pop-up camera on the front.

Apple iMacs updated with up to 9th-gen 8-core Intel processors, Radeon Pro Vega Graphics, India price starts at Rs. 1,19,900

After two years, Apple has updated its iMac lineup with faster processors and graphics. The 21.5-inch iMac gets 8th-generation quad-core, and for the first time 6-core processors, that promises up to 60% faster performance. The 27-inch iMac now for the first time features up to 9th-generation 6-core and 8-core processors, including 8-core Intel Core i9 processor  (Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz) that promises up to 2.4x faster performance. Qualcomm’s Boundless XR is a clear vision of the future

The potential of 5G is immense. What we got to see at the Qualcomm booth regarding this new generation of cellular wireless technology laid down a clear path to the future. Part of that future is what Qualcomm calls “Boundless XR”. XR is short form for extended reality and it includes both virtual reality and augmented reality. So, what is “boundless”? Well, this is where Qualcomm’s expertise comes into play. Using 5G and powerful chips in smartphones, the IP-heavy company demonstrated its plans to break the XR experience from the shackles of wires and beefy computers.

Google Pay now lets you book train tickets at no additional cost

Google Pay already offers cab and bus ticket bookings with abhiBus, Goibibo, RedBus, Uber and Yatra. Today it has introduced train ticket booking for Indian Railways, powered by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at no additional cost at the launch. You can just click Trains option inside the Google Pay app to access this feature. Samsung Galaxy A20 with 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display, dual rear cameras, 4000mAh battery announced

Samsung has finally announced Galaxy A20, a mid-range smartphone in Russia, after it introduced the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 last month. It has a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display, is powered by Exynos 7884 Octa-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary and an 8-megapixel front camera.

Call of Duty: Mobile for Android and iOS announced

Activision, in collaboration with Tencent has announced Call of Duty: Mobile is coming to previously unannounced regions, including North America, South America, Europe, and more, after it started Alpha testing in December. Developed by Tencent’s award-winning Timi studio, this free-to-play game brings together maps, modes, weapons, and characters from across the Call of Duty franchise, including Black Ops and the Modern Warfare series.

Xiaomi launches Mi Pay mobile payment solution in India

Xiaomi has officially launched Mi Pay, the company’s latest mobile payment solution in India, after it was introduced back in December last year. Mi Pay is supported by ICICI Bank, has a basic UI and it requires Phone, Contacts and SMS permissions to run. Users have an option to transfer money to UPI address and Bank Account directly.

HONOR 10i with 6.21-inch FHD+ display, triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera announced

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has silently introduced HONOR 10i, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone. It has a 6.21-inch Full HD+ water drop notch display with about 90% screen-to-body ratio, but other specifications are similar to the Nova 4e that was introduced in China last week, including a Kirin 710 SoC, Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0, 24-megapixel rear camera along with a  2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots, 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens and 32-megapixel front camera with AI beautify features.

Google to shut down Inbox by Gmail on April 2

Update — March 19: After confirming that it will shut down Inbox by Gmail app at the end of March 2019, Google has started showing alerts for the users that says that the app will be going away in 15 days, which is April 2nd, 2019. Google has already shut down Allo this month, and will shut down goo.gl URL Shortener later this month and Google+ on April 2nd as a part of Spring Cleaning.

OPPO AX5s with 6.2-inch 19:9 Waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras, 4230mAh battery announced

OPPO has silently introduced AX5s smartphone in Taiwan, and it is expected to be introduced as A5s in other markets. This has similar specifications as the A5 that was introduced last year, including a 6.2-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 4230mAh battery, but this is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC instead of Snapdragon 450.
