Acer Predator Triton 300 SE, Helios 300, Nitro 5 laptops with 11th gen Intel Core CPUs and Nvidia 30-series GPU announced

Acer has refreshed their Predator and Nitro lineup of gaming laptops, updating them with Intel’s latest 11th Gen Core H35-series CPUs and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs. Four new laptops were announced, which include the Predator Triton 300 SE, the Predator Helios 300, a 15-inch and 17-inch variants of Acer Nitro 5.

Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition launched in India at Rs. 89 per month

Amazon Prime Video has launched Prime Video Mobile Edition, a new single-user, mobile-only plan at an introductory price of Rs. 89 per month first time in India.  The plan provides SD quality streaming through the Prime Video app on Android or iOS, which the company says is created especially for a mobile-first country like India. Telegram adds 25 million new users in 72 hours, surpasses 500 million active users

Telegram CEO and Founder Pavel Durov in a blogpost announced that Telegram has added 25 million new users globally in the last 72 hours alone. It surpassed 500 million monthly active users in the first week of January. The new rise is due to the new update to WhatsApp’s privacy policy which the company clarified later after backlash from people. Several users moved to Telegram and Signal. Samsung confirms AMD GPU for its next-gen flagship Exynos SoC

Samsung introduced Exynos 2100, the company’s latest flagship SoC that will power the Galaxy S21 series. Inyup Kang, President of System LSI Business at Samsung Electronics at the end of the event confirmed that the company has been working with AMD and the next-generation mobile GPU from AMD will be used in the next flagship Exynos processor. Samsung Exynos 2100 5nm EUV SoC with up to 30% faster CPU and up to 40% better GPU performance, built-in 5G announced

Samsung just announced its latest Exynos 2100 SoC, successor of Exynos 990 that was introduced last year, as it had promised. It uses 5nm EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography processing technology for better power efficiency. This has tri-cluster CPU structure that consists of Arm Cortex-X1 core that runs at up to 2.9GHz optimized for peak performance, three Cortex-A78 cores that run at 2.8GHz for balanced processing, and four Cortex-A55 cores that run at 2.2GHz for efficiency. This is similar to Snapdragon 888, but the clock speed is faster than the competitor. It promises 30% improved multi-core performance that the predecessor. WhatsApp clarifies its data sharing and privacy policy after public backlash

A couple of days ago, WhatsApp updated their terms of service and privacy policy, forcing their users to accept it before the 8th of February. After receiving a lot of backlash and losing a lot of users to Telegram and Signal, WhatsApp has posted a new FAQ detailing what information is not collected and not shared with its parent company, Facebook.
