Nokia Lumia 610 now in stock at UK retailers

The low-cost Windows Phone from Nokia the Lumia 610 which was announced at MWC 2012 is now in-stock at select retailers in the UK and priced very competitively. The affordable Windows Phone is available from 145.99 GBP excluding VAT ( Rs.12620 approx / 230 USD ) only in Black colour at the moment and the Cyan version is expected to be in stock in a few days. Samsung Galaxy S3 lands on eBay India , priced at Rs.39999

The India launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is round the corner , May 31 being the date and Samsung has even started taking Pre-Orders for it’s biggest handset launch of the year. But Samsung has not revealed the price of it’s flagship Android device. The Galaxy S3 has landed on eBay India with a price tag of Rs.39,999 Rs.44770 and the seller says that the phone will be delivered after 1st June 2012. The Samsung Galaxy S2 was a big hit for Samsung and the company is looking to repeat history with the Galaxy S3. It might won some carrier confidence already as reports indicate over 9 million pre-orders for the device.  The device is yet to reach consumers and goes on sale in many markets on May 31st and would be interesting to see the consumer response.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands On Video

We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 again at CTIA after the London event from where you saw the Photo Gallery and our live blog.The Galaxy S3 is actually a feature packed handset and does impress when held in the hand. Only let down is the plasticky finish but even then I seemed to like the white version over the blue version. It is pretty fast and comes out on the top in the benchmarks we tested on it.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Benchmarks

I’m currently attending CTIA in New Orleans in USA and guess what I found at a Mobile Focus show last nite here – the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was just shown off in London last week is now being show off here. I held the S3 for the first time in the hand and it felt nice except for the plasticky outer shell. The display was gorgeous and the phone was screaming fast. Samsung Galaxy S3 announced – 4.8 inch SuperAMOLED Display , Android 4.0 , 8MP Camera and 2100 mAh battery

Samsung has finally unpacked the much awaited Galaxy S3. It packs a 4.8 inch SuperAMOLED display , without rounded corners and home button below the display with menu and back keys beside the home button. There is a 8MP camera on the rear and a 1.9 MP Camera on the front which is capable of Face Recognition and adjusts the display brightness depending on eye position. BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Device First Pics

Here are the first pics of the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device which RIM CEO Thorsten Heins showed off in the keynote few minutes ago. Although the device is only meant for developers at this point , it looks slick ! More than the hardware the BlackBerry 10 UI seems impressive. The software packs a gesture based on screen keyboard and an innovative multitasking interface.

BlackBerry World 2012 Live Blog

LAVA XOLO X900 First Unboxing


Here is the world’s first unboxing of the world’s first Intel powered phone the Lava XOLO X900 first only on FoneArena. This Android smartphone went on sale on April 23rd in India for Rs.21990 available only online. Intel and Lava showcased this device at MWC 2012 in February this year and it’s hit the market this month. Actually India is the first country in which the XOLO X900 is being launched. The phone is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel ATOM processor and packs 1GB of RAM. It has a 8MP Camera along with a dedicated camera key. It packs a 4inch screen with a 1024×600 pixels resolution. HTC One X now getting 1.28.720.10 OTA update in India

Today when I was playing around with the HTC One X , an OTA update popped up on the screen. This is the 1.28.720.10 update which was rolled out in Europe recently. This update is expected to fix the battery life woes of the Quad Core phone which is by far the best Android device money can buy at this point of time. Apple iPad 3 Review ( 3rd Generation 4G+WiFi )

Apple announced the new iPad on 8th March that goes on Sale in India on 27th April. The external design of the new iPad doesn’t differ from the iPad 2, but the internals have been refreshed. It has an A5x chip which comes with quad-core graphics, Retina display and a better 5MP camera with 1080p video recording. LG Optimus 3D MAX global roll-out starts today in Europe

The slimmer and refined 3D smartphone from LG the Optimus 3D Max will start rolling-out in Europe starting  from today. The phone was first showcased at MWC 2012 earlier this year in February. The original Optimus 3D phone was a bit bulky and about 12mm thick. LG have managed to shave more than 2mm off the Optimus 3D as the 3D Max is just 9.6mm thick. It is also lighter at 148 grams.
