A lot of you have been asking us if they White S4 is better than the Black one and vice versa ,so we managed to get both the colours of the Galaxy S4 in India for a quick photo shoot. Here are some photos comparing the two variants side by side. Samsung calls the Black version – Black Mist although it is a lot closer to blue in reality. The white is called White Frost and is actually white.

The Oppo Find 5 was announced back in December 2012 and we did get our sweet short hands-on time with this device with jaw-dropping looks. It is a great looking phone which is solidly built and has powerful internals and an excellent display and priced very reasonably. The package is very well designed and premium and we felt like we were dealing with an expensive piece of jewellery or an high-end electronic device.

It’s been barely a week since Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 in India and the device has already got a software update via OTA.The update brings stability improvements to the S4 and looks like an initial bug fix update.The phone is already running on Android 4.2.2 and this looks like a low level firmware update and not an OS update. If you follow the tech scene closely , you must have heard about these slightly expensive cameras sold in the name of Lytro. The main highlight of Lytro cameras is the ability to focus objects in the picture after you have clicked the picture. One company Pelican Imaging based in Mountain View, California ( yes the same town as Google) is working on array camera technology for mobile devices.And we might see one of the first devices with such technology debut in 2014 which is not that far away. Looks like BlackBerry has found a replacement for Sunil Dutt who resigned as Managing Director of BlackBerry , India. BlackBerry has appointed Sunil Lalwani from within the company as the new Managing Director.He has been with the company since 2009 and was spearheading enterprise sales and has had stints at Nokia and Cisco in the past. We were at the Samsung Galaxy S4 India launch event held at a pretty interesting location , the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon near Delhi. Here are some photos and a short video we put together from the launch event for your viewing pleasure.Samsung called the event “Galaxy S3 World Tour 2013 India”. The presentation was not as crazy as the unpacked event in New York but close enough with a Bollywood style dance performance with a couple of dancers coming out from the ceiling ! The Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced for the Indian market yesterday and priced at Rs.41500. Here is our unboxing video of the retail package which will go on sale in India today at several stores across India mainly in Delhi , Mumbai , Bangalore and Hyderabad.The Indian version packs Samsung’s Octa-core processor which is a combination of a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

Samsung launched the all new Galaxy S4 amidst much fanfare in Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon today, in India near New Delhi. Like we had expected, Samsung has not launched the Snapdragon 600 powered version like in other LTE markets including USA and Europe. Samsung today launched the much awaited Galaxy S4 android smartphone in India at an event here in Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon. This 5 inch full HD flagship device from Samsung which will go on sale starting tomorrow April 27th, is priced at Rs. 41,500. As expected, the 1.6 GHz Octa-core variant of the Galaxy S4 will be made available for the Indian market. The device will first go on sale in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore tomorrow and all over India after that. It comes bundled with a Vodafone offer, unlimited 3G internet with FUP, 3000 minutes worth of local and STD voice calls, 750 local and national messages. Nokia has sent out an invite to several media outlets for a launch event in London , UK happening on May 14.The invite says that the “Nokia Lumia Story Continues” on May 14th. The previous major Lumia launch happened at MWC in Barcelona where the company launched the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 which are already available in India.

Looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in India through multiple channels. The much anticipated Android phone will be launched at Reliance Digital Stores across India on April 27th with a launch party for pre-booking customers in the evening in Mumbai. Certain outlets have started pre-bookings since yesterday. We had reported today morning about the Galaxy S4 going on sale on Samsung’s official online store on 27th.

Samsung India has revealed the price of the much awaited Android tablet from the company – the Galaxy Note 510 which was announced as the Galaxy Note 8.0 during Mobile World Congress and announced for India as the Galaxy Note 510 at the Samsung Forum in Hyderabad. The price for the 3G version which supports calling is indicated as Rs.30900 on the company’s online store.

Apple just announced it earnings for the quarter ended March 30 2013 or Q2 2013 with revenue of $43.6 billion and net profit of $9.5 billion after selling 37.4 million iPhones and 19.5 million iPads.The company also sold 4 million Macs.International sales contributed 66% of the revenue. Apple’s enormous cash pile increased to $145 billion. Looks like iPhone sales are slowing down in anticipation of the newer model. Apple sold 47.8 million iPhones in previous quarter in comparison.
