Meizu today announced V8 and V8 Pro smartphones in China, both with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio displays. Both these run Android Oreo. The V8 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm SoC and have 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots, while the V8 is powered by a quad-core Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 SoC and 13-megapixel single rear camera. Both these have a fingerprint sensor on the back and have a metal design.
Meizu, along with the 16X also introduced the 8X with the same Snapdragon 710 SoC, however this packs a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 18.5:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with 89.6% aspect ratio, 1.7mm ultra narrow bezels on the sides and 4.8mm bottom bezels. Xiaomi, along with the Mi 8 Lite also introduced the Mi 8 Pro with a pressure-sensitive in-display fingerprint sensor. It has a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 660 AIE with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI top, has a 12-megapixel rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture with AI scene recognition to recognize 238 scenes, along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ smartphones with Infinity displays after the listing surfaced online. Both the smartphones have 6-inch HD+ Infinity displays, Quad-Core SoC, which could be Snapdragon 425 as rumored earlier, but the company says that the SoC differs depending on the region. After Samsung confirmed the launch of Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ smartphones with Infinity displays exclusively on Amazon India. Both the smartphones have been listed online with images and complete specifications. This reveals 6-inch HD+ Infinity displays, Snapdragon 425 SoC, Android 8.1 (Oreo) and a 3300mAh battery for both the phones. The J6+ will feature a fingerprint sensor on the right frame as well as dual rear cameras.
After the live images and video, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has been listed online for sale. We already know specifications of the phone, which revealed it as a minor upgrade compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Major change is the 6.28-inch screen with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio and dual front cameras.
OPPO’s sub-brand Realme launched the Realme 2, the company’s second-generation smartphone in India last month. During the first sale the company said that it sold 200,000 or 2 lakh units of smartphones in just 5 minutes on Flipkart. In the second sale last week it said that it sold 170,000 or 1.7 lakh units with combined sales of 3.7 lakh units in first two sales.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1 smartphone last month, and the phone first time on Flipkart and Mi.com from August 29th. At that time the company said that it will be selling official mobile skins for the phone at Rs. 299. Today it has announced that the skins will be available for the first time tomorrow, September 19th through Flipkart and Mi.com at 12PM.

Motorola announced the One Power Android One smartphones at the IFA in Berlin last month. It also said that the phone will be launched in India in October. Now the company has confirmed that it will launch the phone on September 24th. It has a 6.2-inch 19:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ display with a notch, has dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a Motorola logo. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update as well as Android Q update for the phone, as well as security updates for three years from the initial global launch date.
