After  Camon iAce and Camon iSky 2 launch last month, Tecno has launched three new smartphones – Camon iAir2+, Camon i2 and Camon i2x in India. Xiaomi India creates new Guinness World Record with largest light mosaic (logo)

Xiaomi India has created new Guinness World Record  by building the largest light mosaic (logo) in the world. Depicting its popular Mi logo, the light mosaic was laid out by assembling 9,690 bulbs. The light mosaic by Xiaomi India was a special initiative driven by the Brand Marketing team to highlight the brand’s journey in India. Xiaomi opens Mi Home Experience Store in Bengaluru

After Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi, Xiaomi has opened its first Mi Home Experience Store in Bengaluru. Located at its office in Embassy Tech Village, Devarabisanahalli, the store offers all the products that have launched in India and also showcases some of the products that were launched globally such as Mi Projector, Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Mi Washing Machine, Mi Heater, Mi Bike, Mi Scooter and Mi Ninebot. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 buyers get Galaxy Watch at discounted rate as a limited period offer in India

Samsung  launched the Galaxy Note9 smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 67900, after it went on pre-order a couple of weeks before it, offering a chance to own a Samsung Gear Sport smartwatch for Rs. 4,999 (Originally costs Rs. 22,990). Today the company has announced a new limited offer that will offer the buyers the recently-launched Galaxy Watch (42mm) at Rs. 9999 (Originally costs Rs. 24,990). LG V40 ThinQ with triple rear cameras, dual front cameras surface in press renders ahead of October 3 announcement

Earlier this month LG announced that it will introduce its flagship V40 ThinQ smartphone on October 3rd. We had already seen renders of the smartphone, now have the first press render of the phone, thanks to @evleaks. This reveals a notch design, triple rear cameras, dual front camera, fingerprint sensor on the back and a metal frame with a dedicated Google Assistant button below the volume rockers. Nokia 7 Plus Android 9.0 (Pie) update in final stages of testing, stable roll out expected soon

Google introduced Android Pie Beta program for a range of smartphones including the Nokia 7 Plus back in May. It released Android P Developer Preview 5 (Beta 4) for the smartphone last week. At the Nokia 6.1 Plus launch last month the company said that the Nokia 7 Plus will get the stable Android Pie update in September, but we are nearing the end of the month.

Linking Aadhaar to bank accounts, mobile numbers not mandatory: Supreme Court

After extending the deadline to Aadhaar card with mobile numbers and bank accounts indefinitely, back in March, today Supreme Court has announced that it is not mandatory to link bank accounts and mobile numbers with Aadhaar or when opening a bank account or for obtaining a new SIM card. It also said at No mobile company can demand Aadhaar card.

Vivo V9 Pro with 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 FullView display, Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 17990

Vivo has launched the V9 Pro smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was introduced as V9 6GB back in June in Indonesia. Honor 8C with 6.26-inch 19:9 display, dual rear cameras to be announced on October 11

Huawei’s Honor brand is all set to announce the Honor 8C, a new budget smartphone in the Honor 8 series on October 11th in China. The successor of Honor 7C that was introduced earlier this year now has a notch and a larger 6.26-inch screen. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB of RAM. On the back there are 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras and there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front, same as the predecessor.

Airtel to deploy 13000 new mobile sites, Massive MIMO pre-5G technology, 4500 kms of additional optic fiber in Karnataka

After Kerala, Mumbai,  Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,  West Bengal and Odisha, Airtel has announced massive network expansion in Karnataka as part of its network transformation initiative – Project Leap. by By March 2019, Airtel plans to roll out 13,000 new mobile sites along with an addition of more than 4500 kilometers of optic fiber to enable high speed data transmission. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming smartphone with 5.99-inch display, dual rear cameras, new design gets certified

Xiaomi-backed Black Shark introduced the Black Shark Gaming Phone in China  back in April this year, now a new Black Shark smartphone with the model number AWM-A0 has been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals a slightly different design compared to the predecessor since the phone has a dual rear cameras arranged vertically and the fingerprint sensor that was present on the front has been moved to the back. Apple Watch Series 4 Teardown reveals battery capacity, hidden barometric sensor and more

After the teardown of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max that reveled several details about the smartphones, iFixit has completed teardown of Apple Watch Series 4 44mm model with LTE (A2008). This reveals a slightly bigger battery compared to the Watch Series 3, hidden barometric sensor, all-new optical sensor, surrounded by a new ring-shaped electrical sensor.

Amazon India today launched  ‘Prime Reading’ that lets Amazon Prime members read hundreds of eligible eBooks, comics and more through Kindle devices and apps at no additional cost. These free ebooks will change every month and includes bestsellers like Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling, Immortals of Meluha by Amish, and Operation Deep Strike by Rahul Badami.
