Vivo just announced Z5x, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Z series in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD with 90.77% screen-to-body ratio with 16-megapixel in-screen camera, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS on top, has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor and a 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. Realme 3 Pro will be available offline through 8000 stores across India from May 28

Realme launched the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India starting at Rs. 13,999 last month, and the phone went on sale starting from April 29th through Flipkart and realme.com. Today the company has announced that the phone will be available from offline stores throughout the country in 8000 stores from 28th May 2019. Google Duo gets support for group video calling, Data Saving mode for India and more

Google has finally added group video calling support for Duo, after testing it earlier this year. This lets you make calls with up to eight people. Similar to Duo calls and video messages, group calls are also encrypted end-to-end, said Google. It is available for both Android and iOS.

Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 Android Pie update to roll out in India from June 3

Samsung launched the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M30 smartphones this year in India. All these run Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5, compared to Android 9.0 (Pie) with One UI in the latest Galaxy A series. Today the company has announced that all the three smartphones will get  Android 9 Pie update, bringing important improvements and security patches starting from June 3, 2019.

AT&T now lets you pay your phone bills with Bitcoin

AT&T has become the first major U.S. mobile carrier to accept payment in cryptocurrency. AT&T customers can now use BitPay to pay online bills using Bitcoin (BTC). Customers will be able to select BitPay as a payment option when they log on to their accounts online or with the myAT&T app.

Xiaomi Mi Polarised Square and Polarised Pilot Sunglasses go on sale in India starting at Rs. 899

Xiaomi started crowdfunding for its Mi Polarized Wayfarer and Mi Polarized Aviators in India back in December last year, and it started shipping for its backers in January this year. Today, the company has started selling these glasses for everyone through mi.com, and the company is now calling them Mi Polarised Square Sunglasses and Mi Polarised Pilot Sunglasses.

WhatsApp said to be working on option to share Status to Facebook Story and QR Code feature

Instagram already has an option to automatically share story to your Facebook story. Now WhatsApp is said to be testing “Add to Facebook Story” feature to share WhatsApp Status with images, videos, GIFs and text to Facebook Story. Unlike Instagram, this is not automatic, and has to be shared manually.

It has  a 6.5-inch Full HD+ no-notch AMOLED display from Samsung with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio, DC dimming, next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner that is 28.5% faster with 10% success rate in unlocking, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 8GB of RAM, GameBoost 2.0, runs Android Pie with Color OS 6.0 on top, features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera.

OnePlus 3 and 3T OxygenOS 9.0.2 Android Pie stable update starts rolling out

OnePlus has finally released Android Pie stable update for OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones with OxygenOS 9.0.2, as it had promised last year. It rolled out Android Pie beta update for the phones last month. OnePlus 3 and 3T were launched back in 2016 running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This is the third major Android update for the phones after Android Nougat in 2017 and Android Oreo update last year. The company has already guaranteed Android security updates for the phones till November 2019.
