It has just been two months since Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7A smartphone in India, now the company has announced that it will launch the Redmi 8A smartphone in the country on September 25th on Flipkart. India should be one of the first countries to get the phone. The teaser confirms a notch display, unlike the 18:9 screen on the 7A.

HMD Global just launched Nokia 7.2, the company’s latest mid-range Android One smartphone, after it was introduced at the IFA earlier this month. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ Waterdrop PureDisplay that uses Dedicated Pixelworks visual processor to upscale video content to HDR quality in real time, with up to a billion shades of colour, higher contrast and expanded dynamic range. It also comes with high brightness and local contrast enhancement, making it easy to view content even in brighter conditions. Activision, in collaboration with Tencent has announced Call of Duty: Mobile back in March this year, after it started Alpha testing in December. Today it has announced that the game will be available for Android and iOS from October 1st globally. It will be free to play with free updates, confirmed the company. This will let users interact with Alexa to ask for music, get Bollywood or sports updates and much more in Hindi or Hinglish. It has a 64-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display, is powered by new Exynos 7884B Octa-Core processor and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI. It has a single 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and a 8-megapixel front camera with face unlock.

It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, is powered by the latest Exynos 9611 10nm SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with Samsung One UI 1.5, has a 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel 123° ultra-wide angle camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel camera on the front.

Popular podcast app Pocket Casts is now available for free, down from $3.99 (Rs. 99 in India) since the launch back in 2010. Every feature previously in the paid version is in the free version, said that company. It has also introduced new optional Pocket Casts Plus subscription at $1.17/month or $11.79/year, if you want additional features such as new themes, icons and option import your own audio files by uploading them to the Pocket Casts cloud so that you can access them across all the devices. It has a 5.71-inch HD+ watedrop notch screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with EMUI on top and has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor and comes only with face unlock. The phone has a plastic back and packs a 3020mAh battery.

Xiaomi just launched the most expected Mi Smart Band 4 in India, as it had promised. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touch screen display, which is 39.9% bigger than the predecessor so that it can display more characters and is protected by 2.5D scratch-resistant glass. It has 77 different watch faces. The band is also 5ATM water resistant so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters. Xiaomi just launched the Mi Smart Water Purifier with RO + UV purification in India at its Smarter Living event. It has a minimalist design and has five stages of purification. It has a 7 liter tank and is made of FDA approved material. The purifier has five stages of filtration that includes Polypropylene cotton filter, activated carbon filer, RO, Post Activated Carbon filer and in-tank UV sterilization.

Xiaomi to launched its range of Mi TVs in India, including its 65-inch 4K TV, as it had promised. There is also a Mi TV 4X 43-inch and 50-inch 4K TV models with HDR support. There is also Mi TV 4A 40-inch Full HD TV. All these have 20W speakers with Dolby and DTS support and run PatchWall 2.0 with Android TV 9.0. It has also introduced Data Saver for India with data counter and cast from phone to TV easily.
