HUAWEI Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ with FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen, Kirin 9000 5G 5nm SoC announced

HUAWEI today announced its flagship Mate 40,  Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ smartphones in an online event as it had promised.  The Mate 40 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz screen and the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ feature a 6.76-inch FHD+ OLED 88° Horizon Display with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. These are powered by Kirin 9000 5G 5nm SoCs with dedicated NPUs and run Android 10 with EMUI 11.0 on top with HMS. LG WING launching in India on October 28

LG unveiled its WING smartphone with a unique swivel screen last month, and started rolling it out from South Korea earlier this month. Today the company has sent out invites for the launch of the swivel screen phone in India on October 28th. The invite has #ExploretheNew tag and design of the phone is revealed as a shadow. iPhone 12 teardown confirms Snapdragon X55 5G modem; Apple to use Snapdragon X60, X65 and X70 modems in future iPhones

Apple introduced the iPhone 12 series smartphones with 5G support last week. A tear down video from China has confirmed that the phone uses Qualcomm SDX55 5G modem, which is X55 5G that is also used with Snapdragon 865. The iPhone 11 series used Intel XMM7660 4G mode. Realme 7 Pro Review: Solid mid-range smartphone under Rs. 20000

realme recently launched the realme 7 Pro smartphone, successor to realme 6 Pro that was launched earlier this year. This has a completely different approach compared to the realme 6 Pro since it moves from a 90Hz refresh rate LCD screen to 60Hz AMOLED screen, doesn’t have a telephoto lens or a secondary wide-angle front camera, retains the same Snapdragon 720G SoC, but this brings 65W fast charging for the first time in the price segment. OnePlus 9 said to arrive in March 2021; OnePlus Nord N10 5G rear design surfaces

Every year OnePlus introduces its flagship smartphone in the first half of the year, and the T version of it towards the end of the year. Earlier this year in April it introduced the OnePlus 8 and the 8 Pro smartphone earlier than the usual May launch of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. Next year, the company is rumoured to introduce the OnePlus 9 smartphone in the March, just 5 months after the launch of the OnePlus 8T. OPPO A33 with 6.5-inch 90Hz display, Snapdragon 460, 5000mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 11990

OPPO just launched A33, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series in India. It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 89.2% screen-to-body ratio, and an 8-megapixel front camera.  Powered by Snapdragon 460, it runs ColorOS 7.2 with Android 10 on top and features 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. iQOO U1x with 6.51-inch display, up to 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery announced

Vivo’s iQOO brand today announced U1x, a cheaper version of its U1 smartphone that was introduced recently. It has a 6.51-inch HD+  LCD screen, is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 662 Mobile Platform with up to 6GB of RAM, sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the smartphone runs on IQOO UI based on Android 10. Qualcomm just announced its full portfolio of 5G infrastructure semiconductor platforms designed for broad deployment scenarios, ranging from macro base stations with massive MIMO to micro base stations with compact designs, to accelerate the cellular ecosystem transition toward virtualized and interoperable radio access networks (RAN) – a trend driven by 5G. Samsung Galaxy Fit2 with 1.1-inch AMOLED display, 50m water resistance launched in India for Rs. 3999

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Fit2 fitness tracker in India. It sports a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that is housed in 3D curved glass and the display has a peak brightness of 450 nits and has over 70 different downloadable watch faces. The Fit2 can automatically detect and tracks up to 5 activities, and provide users with various insights such as heart rate, distance, and calories burned. There is a sleep tracking feature as well and there are support for Gyro, Photo plethysmography, and Accelerometer sensors.
