Intel unveils Clover Trail+ dual-core Atom processors

Intel already unveiled Clover Trail+ dual-core Atom processors, Z2580, Z2560 and Z2520 at the MWC 2013. Intel already promised that they would show the  devices with the platform at MWC. These are based on 32 nm High-k/metal gate transistor technology and supports 1080p Full HD video recording and playback. These support up to 1920 x 1200 display for large screen tablets.

Nokia 301 with 3G, enhanced camera features announced

Nokia has announced the Nokia 301 at the MWC 2013. It has a 3.2MP rear camera with unique panorama, sequential shot, which takes 3-5 frames and lets you choose the perfect picture and self-portrait feature that uses voice prompts to tell you how to position the phone so your face is properly in the frame. It would also come in a dual SIM variant that has Nokia Easy Swap Dual SIM support. Nokia Lumia 720 with 4.3-inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor announced

Nokia has announced at Lumia 720, their new smartphone in the Lumia range running the latest Windows Phone 8 OS at the MWC 2013. It comes with a 4.3-inch  (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Nokia Lumia 520 with 4-inch IPS display, 1 GHz dual-core processor announced

Nokia has announced the Lumia 520, their new affordable Lumia Windows Phone 8 handset at the MWC 2013. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display with 2D hardened glass, super sensitive touch for finger nail and glove use and is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with 720p HD video recording. It uses the similar fabula design as the other Lumia handsets.

BlackBerry Z10 launched in India for Rs. 43490

BlacBerry has finally launched the BlackBerry Z10, their first BlackBerry 10 smartphone in India as we announced few days back. It was announced last month, and we unboxed it earlier this month. It comes with a 4.2-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) multi-touch IPS LCD display at 356 PPI pixel density. Samsung to unveil Galaxy S4 on March 14 in New York, confirms JK Shin


There were several rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch date. First it was March 15th, later it was rumored that the phone would be unveiled on March 14th. According to a recent report from Reuters based on a report from Korean Edaily new site, the event is indeed happening on March 14th in New York as confirmed by the JK Shin, chief of mobile division, Samsung. HP Slate 7 Tablet with 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 announced, starts at $169

HP has announced the Slate 7 Tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2013. It comes with a 7-inch ( 1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with High-aperture-ratio Field Fringe Switching (HFFS) panel with wide viewing angles and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor and comes with built-in Beats Audio support.  It has a stainless-steel frame and comes in soft black paint back in gray or red colors. Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 Tablets running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean announced

Lenovo has unveiled 3 new Android Tablets, A1000 and A3000 with 7-inch displays and A6000 with a 10-inch display at the MWC 2013. The Lenovo A1000 comes with Dolby Digital Plus and font firing speakers, the Lenovo A3000 comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and comes with Optional 3G HSPA+ connectivity. The high-end S6000 has a 10-inch (1280 X 800 pixels display) and comes with optional HSPA+ support. All these are powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Huawei Ascend P2 with 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 4G LTE announced

Huawei has finally announced the Ascend P2, successor of the Ascend P1 at the MWC 2013. It features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display (rather than the rumored 1080p display like the Ascend D2) with in-cell touch technology and a 2nd gen corning gorilla glass protection. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top.  It comes with a 13 MP auto focus camera at the back and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It is just 8.4 mm thick . Huawei is calling it the world’s fastest smartphone since it supports LTE Cat 4 that would offer speeds up to 150Mbps. Samsung Galaxy S4 image surface, to feature 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor ?

Samsung Galaxy S4 cases leaked recently, now the first image of Galaxy S4 has surfaced online showing the boot screen. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 would not feature a Exynos processor and AMOLED display, instead the next phone in the Galaxy S series would feature a 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and have a 4.99-inch Full-HD SoLux Display. Sony bags Katrina Kaif as brand ambassador for Xperia Smartphones


Sony India has announced Katrina Kaif as its Brand Ambassador for Xperia range of Smartphones.  Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was announced as Sony’s brand ambassador, when Sony Ericsson XPERIA and VIVAZ phones were first launched in India back in 2010. Sony aims to boost the brand’s visibility in India with this new signup. Katrina Kaif was seen launching the BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India last year, but Ranbir Kapoor was roped in as the BlackBerry brand ambassador last year. Samsung Galaxy Camera price drops to Rs. 26000


Samsung has cut the price of the Android Jelly Bean-powered Galaxy Camera, which  is now available for Rs.26,000 in India. The Samsung Galaxy Camera was announced at IFA, Berlin last August and  launched in India last November for Rs. 29,900.
