Lenovo has launched three new Android tablets in India. These tablets were announced earlier at the MWC 2013 and the A1000 went on sale in India from the official Lenovo online store last month. The A1000 has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK8317 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a SIM card slot with 2G data support, voice calling capabilities and a VGA front-facing camera. The A3000 also has a similar 7-inch display, but it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 8125 processor. It also supports 3G and voice calling. Alongside the Lenovo S6000, the company also announced a smaller 7 inch tablet called the A3000. The display is slightly lower resolution at 1024 x 600 pixels but is of the IPS variety with pretty good viewing angles. The contrast ratio, color quality and brightness are definitely quite good.
The tablet isn’t the slimmest we’ve seen with a 11mm profile but the weight is manageable at just under 340grams. The A3000 easily slips into a jacket pocket. Continue reading “Lenovo A3000 Photo Gallery”
Lenovo has unveiled 3 new Android Tablets, A1000 and A3000 with 7-inch displays and A6000 with a 10-inch display at the MWC 2013. The Lenovo A1000 comes with Dolby Digital Plus and font firing speakers, the Lenovo A3000 comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and comes with Optional 3G HSPA+ connectivity. The high-end S6000 has a 10-inch (1280 X 800 pixels display) and comes with optional HSPA+ support. All these are powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
