Garmin has launched the Venu X1, the company’s latest smartwatch in India, after it was introduced back in June. The main highlight of the watch is its 8mm thick watch case. It has a 2-inch AMOLED display. The device provides up to 8 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.
The Venu X1 is constructed with a titanium caseback and a scratch-resistant sapphire lens. The watch case itself has a rectangular design with rounded corners. It includes a 24mm quick-release ComfortFit nylon band and is available in two color options: black and moss.

The 2-inch display is intended to make data and maps easier to view. The Venu X1 features customizable built-in watch faces, allowing users to select the data they wish to see, such as step count, real-time heart rate, altitude, and training readiness. The system also offers multiple font sizes to enhance notification readability.
New hardware additions include a built-in speaker, microphone, and an LED flashlight. The speaker and microphone allow users to make and take calls from the watch when it is paired with a compatible smartphone. This hardware also enables the use of the connected phone’s voice assistant to respond to text messages.
Certain voice commands, such as starting a running activity or setting a timer, can be activated directly on the watch without a phone connection. The integrated LED flashlight is included to provide visibility in dark environments.
