Karbonn ties up with Vodafone, offers bundled data with Titanium S5 and Smart A12

Karbonn has announced that they have tied up with Vodafone India to offer free data on purchase of the Karbonn Titanium S5 and the Smart A12. This would let the Karbonn Titanium S5 buyers enjoy 1GB of 3G or 3G Unlimited Internet Plan free for 3 Months on Vodafone. First time Vodafone 3G customers using Karbonn A12 would get 500 MB of 3G and 2G Internet Plan free for 2 months. The company partnered with Airtel earlier this year to offer similar data packs with select smartphones. Asus has announced a refreshed version of the Transformer Pad Infinity at the Computex 2013 in Taipei. It has a 10.1-inch (2560 x 1600 pixels) LED backlit 10-point multi-touch IPS display with 178-degree wide viewing angles, powered by a 1.9GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and 72-core GeForce GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has ASUS SonicMaster-enhanced audio and a redesigned 254mm keyboard dock with multi-touch touchpad. Asus has announced the Fonepad Note FHD 6, the company’s first phablet. It has a 6-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD Super IPS+ display, powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with SGX544 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a stylus that docks on the back of the tablet along with Asus exclusive note apps. Asus has announced the MeMO Pad HD 7 at the Computex 2013. It is the successor of the Asus MeMO Pad ME172V that was announced earlier this year. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800) HD IPS 10-point multi-touch display with 170-degree wide viewing angles, powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Asus SonicMaster Audio Technology and Stereo Speakers for enhanced audio output.

It is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ processor, has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) WUXGA display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixels auto focus rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. The company unveiled the MeMO Pad Smart with a 10.1-inch HD display earlier this year. ARM unveils Cortex-A12 Processor and Mali-T622 GPU aimed at mid-range smartphones and tablets

ARM has unveiled the the Cortex-A12 Processor and Mali-T622 GPU at the Computex 2013 in Taipei aimed at mid-range smartphones and tablets. The Cortex-A12 would offer 40 percent more performance than Cortex-A9, brings premium features such as virtualization, TrustZone and ARM’s big.LITTLE processing, It is based on 28nm technology and is about 30 percent smaller in area compared to the Cortex-A9 processor in 40nm technology using the same configuration. The Mali-T622 GPU in the Mali-T600 series would offer 50% improvement over the first generation of the Mali-T600 series and supports OpenGL/ES 3.0. Zen Ultrafone 701 HD Benchmarks

Zen launched the Ultrafone 701 HD back in April at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. We brough you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Most of the phones in the Indian market have the similar MediaTek chip. Let’s see how it performs when compared to other other smartphones in the similar price range.

LG Optimus L5 II (E450) got priced earlier this month along with the L3 II. The Optimus L3 II went on sale recently, now the L5 II is available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and packs a 1700 mAh battery. These run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 mini earlier this week globally. We had already seen the Galaxy S4 Active in photos and video. Now we have the press image of the rugged device for AT&T, thanks to Unlockr / @evleaks. The device is codename: J Active and it would be sold under model number SGH-I537. The phone would come with a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Touchwiz Nature UX on top. HTC T6 specifications surface, 5.9-inch 1080p display and 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor

HTC T6, the company’s first phablet surfaced earlier this week. We did not hear anything about the specifications at the time. Thanks to @evleaks, now we have the specifications of the device even though these is no image of the device. According to the report by The Unlockr the phone is expected to come with a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display, powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It would run on the yet to be announced Android Key Lime Pie with enhanced HTC Sense UI with new BlinkFeed with more content, better customization and offline support. It is expected to come with a UltraPixel rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, BoomSound speakers and Beats audio support support similar to the HTC One.
