Microsoft has announced Lumia 950 XL, the company’s latest high-end smartphone at an event in New York City. It packs a 5.7-inch (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED display, is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and runs on Windows 10. It packs a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera with ZEISS optics, 5th gen Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There is also Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM, which is a dual SIM variant of the smartphone.

Google started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Nexus devices starting from yesterday. The Nexus devices are yet to receive the over-the-air update, but there are several reports saying that Android One smartphones – Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 and Karbonn Sparkle V are getting the Android 6.0 update in India. Google started rolling out Android 6.0 update for Nexus devices starting from yesterday. HTC and Motorola already promised to offer Android Marshmallow update for some of its devices. Sony Mobile just confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for a range of smartphones. It doesn’t mention the Xperia Z and Z1 range, but the company says that it has been working hard to bring the major update to as many of the devices as possible, so we can expect more devices to be added in the future. Meizu announced m2, successor of the Meizu m1 in China back in July. Today the company has announced that it will launch the m2 smartphone in India next week. It packs a 5-inch HD screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 75.6%, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with FlyMe OS 4.5. Coolpad announced back in July that it will launch the a new smartphone with a fingerprint sensor in India soon. Today it has sent an invite for the launch of a new device on October 9th. It clear hints at the fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. It has partnered with Amazon.in to sell the new smartphone, which will be called the Note 3 in India.

According to reports, Apple has revealed the pricing for the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones to the offline retailers. This reveals that the iPhone 6s will start at Rs. 62,000 for the base 16GB version and go up to Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB version, while the iPhone 6s Plus will start at Rs. 72,000 for the 16GB variant and go up to Rs. 92,000 for the 128GB version. Alleged specifications of the upcoming OnePlus mini smartphone surfaced on AnTuTu last month, now GforGames has got hold of more specifications, launch date and more details about the smartphone. The new leak coincides with the earlier AnTuTu leak that reveals a 1080p screen, Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
