Huawei has confirmed (Via) that it will officially introduce the Honor Play 5X smartphone at an event in Beijing on October 10 as rumored earlier. Recently a TENAA listing revealed the specifications of the upcoming Honor Play 5X smartphone that includes a 5-inch HD screen, quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735, Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Huawei Honor Play 5X comes in Black color, but it should also be available in other color variants. We should know the pricing at the launch later this week. The Huawei Honor 5X smartphone that surfaced on TENAA recently is also expected to go official soon.
