Lenovo A6000 Plus gets a price cut, available for Rs. 6999 in open sale from June 22 to 24

Lenovo launched the A6000 Plus smartphone, an enhanced version of the A6000 with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage at Rs. 7,499 back in April. It sold 1 lakh units of the smartphone in the first flash sale. Now the company has announced that the smartphone will be available for Rs. 6,999 in an open sale between June 22nd, Monday, to June 24th, Tuesday on Flipkart. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Hisar, Haryana

Airtel has launched their 4G LTE services in Hisar, Haryana, followed by Karnal and Yamunanagar earlier this week and Ambala last week in Haryana. Airtel acquired 100% stake in Qualcomm AP’s India BWA licenses in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala circles last year. LINE’s Popcorn Buzz group calling app launched for iPhone

LINE Corporation launched Popcorn Buzz, a group calling app for Android earlier this month. Now the company has launched the app for iPhone users. The free app allows up to 200 participants to simultaneously converse. You can start using Popcorn Buzz simply by choosing a username and uploading a profile picture. Once set up, you can create a group and send each group call’s unique URL via email, text message, other apps.

Lenovo has sold 1 million 4G smartphones via Flipkart in India

Lenovo has announced that it has sold one million units of 4G smartphones in India on Flipkart till June 2015. This includes Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. The company launched the A6000 in India back in January, which was the company’s first affordable 4G smartphone to launch in India. It was later replaced by A6000 Plus, after Lenovo sold 3 lakh units of the A6000 in just two months after launch. The Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, while the Galaxy J7 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC. Airtel launches 4G LTE trials in Delhi NCR

Airtel has launched its 4G LTE trails in Delhi-NCR, as expected. The National Capital Region becomes are the first in the country to get integrated 4G services that uses both 2300MHz TDD-LTE (band 40) and 1800MHz FDD-LTE (band 3). This will deliver the fastest 4G experience and superior network coverage, says the company. For existing Airtel customers, the company is offering a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G. Meizu m2, successor of the Meizu m1 that was introduced earlier this year, has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. The listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD screen, will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor, compared to the MT6732 SoC on the predecessor and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with FlyMe OS.
