Periscope for Android got updated to version 1.3 earlier this week that brought a revamped Global Map feature and option to seek through a replay, now these features are available for iOS users as well in the latest update released today. In Global Map you can now zoom into an area to view more broadcasts, compared to 250 broadcasts earlier, and it also shows replays in the last 24 hours. Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 820 at the MWC earlier this year. At that time it confirmed that it will use custom 64-bit CPU architecture in their own ARMv8-based Qualcomm Kryo CPU and also said that it will be based on FinFET process node. Later it confirmed Adreno 530 GPU for the chip and also said that it will offer 40% graphics performance, compute capabilities, and power usage compared to Adreno 430. OnePlus launched the OnePlus X smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 16999. The OnePlus Onyx version went on sale in the country last week on Amazon.in for those who have invites. We brought you the review of the smartphone recently, here we have its battery test results. The OnePlus packs a 2525mAh built-in battery, which is less than 3,100 mAh battery on the OnePlus One and 3,300 mAh battery on the OnePlus 2 smartphone. Samsung introduced Galaxy Golden, a flip phone with dual displays in China back in 2013 and the phone was launched in India in the same year at a huge price tag of Rs. 49,900. The Galaxy Golden 2 (SM-W2015) got certified on TENAA last year, but Samsung did not release the phone, now the Galaxy Golden 3 (SM-W2016) has passed through TENAA, but it is not clear if Samsung would release the phone. HTC has launched Desire 728G Dual SIM, a variant of the Desire 728 dual sim smartphone with 3G connectivity and dual SIM support with dual GSM SIMs or GSM + CDMA option in India, as expected. It packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo launched the Vibe P1m smartphone with a huge 4,000mAh battery in India last month for Rs. 7999. It went on sale in the first flash on October 28th, and Lenovo said that it sold 14,000 units of smartphones in less than 10 seconds in the sale. It is designed by Texas Instruments and comes with nine layers of circuit protection, similar to other Mi power banks. This has ABS plastic body, compared to aluminium body on other Mi power banks. This offers a better grip and prevents scratches, says Xiaomi. Even though it has more batteries, it weighs just 338 grams, lighter than the 350 gram 16000mAh Mi power bank, mainly due to the change in material. Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band, it’s first fitness and sleep tracking band in July last year, and it was launched in India earlier this year. Now it has introduced the Mi Band Pulse (1S), it’s successor with a heart rate sensor or photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to measure heartbeats, as expected. This lets users get their detailed heart rate measurement easily without wearing any complicated accessories. The design is still the same with aluminium body and it monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep as well, can vibrate to wake you up and comes with IP67 ratings for water resistance, similar to the first Mi Band.
