Google has announced the Nexus 6P smartphone made by Huawei, successor of last year’s Motorola-made Nexus 6. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD display at 518 PPI, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, IR Laser assisted autofocus and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has anodized aluminium body and is just 7.3mm thick. Google just announced the Nexus 5X smartphone made by LG. It is the successor of the Nexus 5 that was introduced back in 2013. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Motorola Moto X Play Battery Life Test

We brought you the review of the Motorola Moto X Play last week. Here we have its battery life test results. The Moto X Play packs a huge 3630mAh built-in battery, compared to 2300mAh battery on the Moto X 2nd Gen. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).

HTC introduces new One M9+ with 21MP camera, Laser AF and OIS

HTC today introduced an upgraded One M9+ Aurora Edition smartphone with a better camera, along with the international version of the Butterfly 3, as expected. The One M9+ that was announced back in April and launched in India the same month has a 20.7MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 27.8mm lens and a secondary depth sensing camera, the new One M9+ Aurora Edition has a 21MP camera with 26.7mm lens, f/2.2 aperture and the secondary camera has been replaced by Laser Auto Focus for faster focus. It also has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that further improves the camera’s focus and also includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Samsung Galaxy Note5 Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note5 smartphone in India earlier month for Rs. 53,900. We brought the review of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. The Galaxy Note5 is powered by an Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 7420 SoC which has four larger ARM Cortex A57 CPUs clocked at 2.1GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.5GHz per core, similar to the Galaxy S6 edge+. It has Mali T760 MP8 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Samsung’s own UI on the top. Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-AL10), successor of last year’s Honor 4X has surfaced (Via) on AnTuTu and TENAA. Unlike the Honor 4X’s polycarbonate body, this has a metal unibody design and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone managed to score 20916 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark. Google will introduce the LG-made Nexus 5X and Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphones at an event in San Francisco in a few hours. Earlier rumors said that the LG Nexus 5X will start at $399, now a new report from Android Police says that the Nexus 5X will be priced from $379.99 (Rs. 25,250 approximately) onwards. Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the company’s latest smartphones went on sale in 12 countries last Friday, September 25th. Today the Cupertino giant announced that it has sold record-breaking 13 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models in just three days after the launch. Last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models saw combined sales of 10 million units in three days after the launch. Apple today confirmed that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones will go on sale in India on October 16th, along with Malaysia and Turkey, as expected. It went on sale in 12 countries – Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US on September 25th. vivo Y15S, Y31 and Y27L launched in India, priced between Rs. 6000 and Rs. 12980

vivo Y27L, a 4G smartphone with slim metal body went on sale last week. Today the company has officially launched the smartphone, along vivo Y15S and vivo Y31 smartphones in the Y series. As we already know, the Y27L has a 4.7-inch HD screen and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. The vivo Y15S has a 4.5-inch FWVGA and the vivo Y31 packs a 4.7-inch HD display. Both these have 3G connectivity.
