Google will introduce the LG-made Nexus 5X and Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphones at an event in San Francisco in a few hours. Earlier rumors said that the LG Nexus 5X will start at $399, now a new report from Android Police says that the Nexus 5X will be priced from $379.99 (Rs. 25,250 approximately) onwards. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the company’s latest smartphones went on sale in 12 countries last Friday, September 25th. Today the Cupertino giant announced that it has sold record-breaking 13 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models in just three days after the launch. Last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models saw combined sales of 10 million units in three days after the launch. Apple today confirmed that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones will go on sale in India on October 16th, along with Malaysia and Turkey, as expected. It went on sale in 12 countries – Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US on September 25th. vivo Y27L, a 4G smartphone with slim metal body went on sale last week. Today the company has officially launched the smartphone, along vivo Y15S and vivo Y31 smartphones in the Y series. As we already know, the Y27L has a 4.7-inch HD screen and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. The vivo Y15S has a 4.5-inch FWVGA and the vivo Y31 packs a 4.7-inch HD display. Both these have 3G connectivity.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note5 smartphone last month in India starting at Rs. 53,900. We recently brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have its battery life test results. The Galaxy Note5 packs a 3000mAh built-in battery with support for both wired and wireless fast charging capabilities. This is slightly smaller than the Note 4’s 3220mAh removable battery. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, which might consume more battery. Check out the test results.

The report also says that the smartphone will launch next month, just in time for Diwali in November, citing its sources. HTC One M9e, a new variant in the M9 series has been certified in one TENAA (Via) in China. According to the images, the smartphone will come with a unibody metal design and a 5-inch 1080p display, similar to One M9. It is likely to come with a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Helio X10 SoC instead of Snadpragon 810 SoC on the M9, but it has 2GB of RAM compared to 3GB of RAM on the One M9 and the One M9+. Huawei Nexus 6P had leaked several times earlier, now Google’s presentation for September 29th event has been leaked (Via) revealing most of the details of the upcoming flagship. This confirms a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), USB Type-C connector, fingerprint sensor on the back and dual front-facing speakers. It also reveals that the smartphone will come with a metal unibody build and pack a 3450mAh battery.

The LG-made Google Nexus 5X (LG-H791) surfaced on Amazon.in earlier this week, and the press image surfaced a few days back, showing off the smartphone in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White colors, now the smartphone has visited the FCC (Via). This lists LG-H791 and LG-H790 models that confirm the dimensions, screen size and the LTE bands of the smartphone.
