smartbro is a new Android app from startup Optinno Mobitech Pvt Ltd. that helps you save money on prepaid by offering you detailed bill for all your calls and data. It is based on operator popups and uses its own data analytics engine to figure out correct latest talktime balance and automatically shows it on the dialer, before making a call so that you can get an idea on how much balance is left. The company says that it is using proprietary patent pending technology.
One thing you have to do for the first time is give it the correct USSD code for checking your 2G, 3G or 4G data balance since it is sometimes wrong in the app. It also alerts the user 3 hours before data pack expiry so that you can recharge or turn off data to prevent amount getting deducted for the data usage after expiry of the pack.
The app gives detailed app-wise, day-wise mobile data usage to know which apps are consuming data in the background and also shows balance and other details in Hindi, Marathi and Gujrati lanugages. The company plans to bring data balance tracking for postpaid, special recharge such as rate cutter and other pack expiry tracking with automated reminder and more new features soon.
