After Tamil Nadu, Vodafone has started offering 4G-ready SIM cards to its existing customers in Punjab (including Chennai) through Vodafone stores, Vodafone Mini Stores and close to 6,000 multi brand outlets, ahead of 4G roll out in the circle. Initially the 4G services will be launched in select towns of Punjab, said the company. Moto Z and Moto Z Force Android 7.0 Nougat with Daydream support global roll out begins this week

Last month Motorola officially confirmed the list of smartphones that will get the Android 7.0 update, including the Moto Z series. Recently the Moto Z Droid and Z Droid Force owners on Verizon started receiving OTA update for Android Nougat that included DayDream support that are currently present only on the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Vodafone has started offering 4G-ready SIM cards to its existing customers in Tamil Nadu (including Chennai) through Vodafone stores, Vodafone Mini Stores and close to 10,000 multi brand outlets, ahead of 4G roll out in the circle. Initially the 4G services will be launched in select towns of Tamil Nadu, said the company. It will be based on 2100 MHz band 1, making the company first in the country to use the band that it had acquired recently. OPPO launched the F1s, selfie-focused smartphone with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera in India back in August priced at Rs. 17,990. Today it has launched the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version of the smartphone, compared to 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. Other specifications are the same that includes a 5.5-inch HD display, Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor, Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with ColorOS 3.0 and a 3075mAh battery. ZUK Edge with Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM, Android 7.0 surfaces in benchmarks, expected this month

ZUK Edge (Z2151) received TENAA certification in China recently and also surfaced in a live images that revealed Snapdragon 821 processor and narrow bezels for 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display. Now it has surfaced on AnTuTu that reveals 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and will run Android 7.0 (Nougat), even though the listing on certification site said it will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). HMD Global to introduce new Nokia Android smartphones at MWC 2017

Earlier this year Nokia announced that it will be back to the worldwide mobile phone and tablet market. Even though it was expected to introduce new phones by the end of 2016, now it is clear that it will happen only in 2017. Nokia granted exclusive global license to HMD, a company based in Finland to sell Nokia-branded feature phones, Android smartphones and tablets for the next ten years. Meizu to announce new MediaTek Helio powered smartphone on Nov 30, Meizu X expected

Meizu just announced that it will unveil a new smartphone at an event on November 30th. It also announced that it will be powered by MediaTek Helio processor with an invite with a caption Make Helio Great Again, but it did not say the exact processor name. Recent rumors revealed that the company will unveil Meizu X at the event. Even box of the smartphone surfaced online that confirms the name. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) with 16MP front and rear cameras receives Bluetooth certification

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) (SM-A720F) had already surfaced in several benchmarking sites, including the GFXBench, and also surfaced on import lising. Now it has received Bluetooth certification that reveals that it will have Bluetooth 4.2 support. It is expected to come with USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor on the home button. Some benchmarks already revealed that it will come with 16-mgeapixel front and rear cameras. OnePlus has released One Beta 7 build for the OnePlus 3 smartphone that brings several new features including new Audio Tuner that improves the audio listening experience. Huawei Mate 9 Lite with 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual rear cameras, 4GB RAM announced

Huawei introduced its flagship Mate 9 smartphone at en event in Germany earlier this month, it also introduced a high-end variant of the phone called the Mate 9 Pro in China earlier this week, now it has introduced Mate 9 Lite, a cheaper variant with dual rear camera arrangement. This uses a 12-megapixel with 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF for 0.3-second quick focus along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. HTC schedules an event in Taiwan on Nov 22, water-resistant HTC 10 Evo with Android 7.0 expected

HTC has scheduled an event in Taiwan on November 22nd where it is expected to introduce HTC 10 Evo, which is the global variant of the Bolt that was introduced for U.S. operator Sprint last week. The image with the phone also confirms this since it has a similar design and water droplets on the back confirms water-resistant body. Reliance Jio starts testing doorstep SIM card delivery through pilot program

Last month Reliance Jio announced that it had signed record 16 million new subscribers in 26 days of its commercial operations, which must have increased by several folds now. The company already said that it is aiming to reach 100 million subscribers by the year end, before the Jio Welcome offer ends. Even though Jio SIM cards are now widely available in several cities, now it has started a new pilot program to deliver SIM cards to your doorstep, as rumored earlier.
