CyanogenMod finally announced CM14.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat last week. It released CM14.1 nightly builds for Moto G 1st and 2nd gen devices, Xiaomi Mi 4, OnePlus 3 and more in the first wave. Now it is available for Moto G (3rd Gen), Google Nexus 6, Nexus 7 2013 4G, range of old Sony Xperia smartphones and more. Today @evleaks posted first press image of the smartphone, which shows a similar design with a home button and the usual set of capacitive touch buttons on either sides. Qualcomm launches bug bounty program, to offer rewards up to $15000

Qualcomm Technologies today announced its vulnerability rewards program designed to expand collaboration with invited white hat hackers who improve the security of the Qualcomm Snapdragon family of processors, LTE modems and related technologies. The program will be administered in collaboration with vulnerability coordination platform HackerOne, offering rewards of up to US$ 15,000 per vulnerability. OnePlus 3 discontinued in the US and Europe, still in stock in India

OnePlus introduced OnePlus 3T, upgraded version of its flagship OnePlus 3 earlier this week. After the launch the OnePlus 3 went out of stock in the official US, UK and European stores. Even though OnePlus support confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be back in stock soon, without giving any details about the availability, Android Authority has confirmed from the company that it will not be selling the phone anymore in the US and Europe, in favor of the new OnePlus 3T. OKWU, a new start-up in India has launched Pi, its first smartphone along with an accessory U-Tag. The OKWU Pi has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing sharp images. It has  a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and can store up to 10 fingerprints. Vivo just announced X9 and X9 Plus, the company’s flagship smartphones in the ‘X series’ in China. Both the phones have a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/2.8″ Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture along with a 8-megapixel camera for capuring depth information when shooting selfies.
