Sprint Officially Announces HTC EVO Shift 4G
Today, wireless carrier Sprint, officially announced the much awaited HTC EVO Shift 4G smartphone. This handset comes with a 3.6 inch display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2 OS and more.





HTC CEO Peter Chou said in an interview that HTC will launch LTE devices in USA in the second half of 2011. Mr. Chou said that they are focusing on Android and Windows Phone 7 only, so these LTE devices will run either Android or Windows Phone 7.
Verizon has officially announced today that they will be launching the Long Term Evolution (LTE) in USA on December 5th, covering 38 cities and 60 airports. Verizon promised that LTE will be available all over the USA by 2013.
NTT DOCOMO, has announced it’s plan to launch of Xi (read “Crossy”), Japan’s first Long Term Evolution (LTE) service on December 24, 2010 with maximum download speeds of 75 Mbps which is 10 times faster than DOCOMO’s current FOMA 3G service.
