Motorola to launch LTE 4G smartphones for Verizon

We already know that Verizon is launching new LTE devices at the upcoming CES 2011, and probably all the devices will be Android powered. Motorola is also launching LTE 4G device, as Verizon COO John Stratton told Wall Street Journal that:

We’ve got LTE smartphones on the horizon,” Verizon’s Mr. Stratton said “Motorola will be right there.

It means that we will see several LTE devices next year from different manufacturers. Motorola is one of them and their first LTE 4G device will be under Verizon branding, and AndroidAndMe is reporting that the device will be Motorola Etna, which is similar to the rumored AT&T Motorola Olympus.

Motorola has added a countdown on their site which is saying that “Are you ready to skip a generation?” Actually Motorola is saying it because they are going to announce some new devices at CES 2011, and the Motorola Honeycomb tablet is one of them. So folks, CES is few weeks away, and everyone is very excited about it.
