POCO just launched the POCO X4 Pro 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay with a 16MP camera, Snapdragon 695 with 7 5G bands, up to 8GB of RAM, support for liquid cooling, has a 64MP rear camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. vivo X Fold, X Note and vivo Pad to be announced on April 11

After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of X Fold, a foldable phone in China on April 11th. The invite says that the X Fold will bring the foldable screen 2.0 era. Based on rumours, the vivo X Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch 120Hz screen on the inside with UTG glass. It is also said to be the first foldable phone with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. WhatsApp Beta is testing 2GB size limit for file sharing

WhatsApp has initiated a beta test of the ability to send files up to 2GB in size. According to WABetaInfo, a limited test is underway in Argentina, and select people will be able to share media files up to 2 GB. It tends to work with WhatsApp beta for Android v2.22.8.5, v2.22.8.6, and v2.22.8.7, as well as for iOS. At the moment, WhatsApp users can only transfer media files up to 100 MB in size. Xiaomi has scheduled a global online event on March 29th to introduce the new Redmi Note 11 series. This comes after the Redmi Note 11 Pro series was launched globally in January. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Unboxing and First Impressions

Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 5G in India earlier this week as the successor to last year’s Galaxy A52s. The phone retains the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, IP67 dust and water resistance, 64MP main camera with OIS, but it replaces the Snapdragon 778G SoC while with the new Exynos 1280 SoC, and also bumps up the 4500mAh battery to 5000mAh. Google Pixel 6a expected at Google I/O in May, roll out from July 28; Pixel Watch along with Pixel 7, 7 Pro in October

A recent report from Jon Prosser said that the Pixel 6a could get pushed to late July due to chip shortage, since it is expected to use the same Tensor GS101 chip that is present in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
