Leaks of vivo’s upcoming X80 series flagship smartphones have surfaced online. Thanks to @Shadow Leak for outlining the specifications of the vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+. This X series from the brand focuses mainly on smartphone photography.
Starting with the display, both models are expected to have the same size screen, which is a 6.78″ AMOLED 120Hz E5 10bit, LTPO 2.0 panel, with the only variation being the resolution, which is expected to be QHD+ on the Pro+ and FHD+ on the Pro version. One of the attractions of these gadgets is their compatibility for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The vivo X80 Pro+ could be outfitted with the Snapdragon’s newest 8 gen 1 SoC, while the X80 Pro is said to be outfitted with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9000 SoC, both with vivo’s self created V1 imaging chip.
In terms of optics, both smartphones use Zeiss-branded cameras. The vivo X80 Pro+ is said to be equipped with a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with OIS, a 48MP IMX598 ultrawide sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 10x hybrid zooming. It is expected to sport a front-facing camera with 44MP resolution.
The vivo X80 Pro will likely include a 50MP Sony IMX789 sensor with OIS, a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultrawide lens, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zooming, and should sport a front-facing camera with a resolution of 32MP.

As far as pricing, base variants of X80 Pro+ might start from 6,499 yuan (US$ 1028 / Rs.79,274 approx.) and X80 Pro might start from 5699 yuan (US$ 901 / Rs.69,515 approx.) as per tipster. We can expect more details and renders about these devices in the upcoming days.
vivo X Note and X Fold
The vivo X Note and X Fold foldable phones have been certified by 3C in China. This reveals 80W wired flash charging for both the phones, one with a 5000mAh battery and the other model with a 4600mAh battery.
According to leaker, Digital Chat Station, vivo X Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch LTPO 120Hz screen on the inside with UTG glass. It is also said to be the first foldable phone with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The vivo X Note is said to feature a 7-inch foldable screen.
These are said to be priced around 10,000 yuan (US$ 1,580 / Rs. 121,581.65 approx.) and are expected sometime in April.
