Google I/O 2022 scheduled to be held on May 11-12

This year, Google’s annual developer conference “Google IO” has been scheduled to be held on May 11th and May 12th. The event will continue to be an online event with no on-site attendance, and will be held at the usual Shoreline Amphitheatre.

Google typically releases a puzzle every year that, when solved, reveals the dates for that year’s IO conference. Solving this year’s puzzle reveals the dates to be May 11th and May 12th.

Google IO is typically the event where Google showcases all the various projects that they have been working on in the past year and also their plans for the future. We can expect announcements about Chrome, Maps, Google Assistant, and of course Android 13, which already has a developer preview released.

This year, the event is one day shorter when compared to 2021. On May 11th, the main keynote by Sundar Pichai along with other developer keynotes will happen. After this, various pre-recorded sessions will go live, along with several interactive events till May 12th.
