Nokia has updated the Chat Beta for Lumia Windows Phone devices to version 1.1 that brings Tap+Send (NFC) sharing between Lumia phones to share details of anyone on your chat contact list. This update brings option to share a place in chat that offers touchable map preview with links to place details, directions, and reviews, powered by HERE Maps. Jeremiah Wong, a Reddit user, has posted a series of screenshots that are said to be from a Lumia 920 running on pre release software. The handset that was purchased via eBay is running on a software version that identifies itself as 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407. This particular build was compiled on 5th May and has a number of additions that Windows Phone users have been clamoring for.

Few images of the alleged Nokia Lumia EOS, the company’s upcoming 41-megapixel flagship phone appeared earlier this week. More images emerged online from a twitter user called Vizileaks that revealed the prototype. Now the user has posted a who preview of the device along with a new video that reveals that the phone would have a mechanical shutter that looks similar to the Nokia 808 PureView. Apple has put up their banners for the WWDC, scheduled for next week that reveals the iOS 7, the next iteration of the iOS software. The X symbol far away in the image also confirms the new OS X version. We still don’t know how the iOS 7 would look like as Apple keeps it a secret as usual. Lava has announced that the company plans to launch a new smartphone under the Iris brand that that can communicate with the user even in signs. Lava says, “This cool feature will allow a user to interact with the phone and use the camera with just a swipe of his hand in the air.” The company says that this would be slimmest in its category and run on the latest version of the Android OS, 4.2 obviously. Karbonn TA-FONE A34 HD, successor of the TA-FONE A34 is on sale from online retailer Saholic. This has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. Other features remain the same including a 1GHz single-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 2G support, voice calling and SMS through dual SIM card slots. The reminders feature brings 3 features in 1 such as reminder alarms, set Note based to-dos to Mark notes as done, pin a note to order reminder manually or by date. You can tap the alarm clock inside a note, optionally, choose a due date and time to set reminders. You can also view reminders by notebook and subscribe to reminders in shared and business notebooks. Evernote for iPhone and iPad got reminders in the version 5.3 update last month. Facebook has updated the Facebook Home app for Android that brings a favorites tray that shows a row of apps at the bottom of every screen in the app launcher. You press and hold the app icon you want to move and drag it in or out of the favorites tray. You can also rearrange the placement of the apps within the favorites tray. Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S4 starting from Germany that brings lots of new features such as option to move apps to the SD card, HDR video recording, Semi-transparent status bar, new Smart Pause toggle in the notification, New camera firmware and lots more. Samsung released the first update for the Exynos version of the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) last month that brought stability improvements. The new update is rolling out for the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) in Germany, but Sammobile says the update would also be available for the Exynos-powered Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500).
