Xiaomi announced the Redmi 2 smartphone in China last month. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21GHz per core, similar to the Lenovo A6000. It has Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz.  It has a 1GB RAM, 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Let’s find out how the smartphone performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

ZTE has launched N919D, the company’s latest Android smartphone with Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) that 3G CDMA or GSM on one slot and GSM on the other. It has a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Nvidia holding an event on March 3, successor of Shield Tablet expected

Nvidia has started sending out press invites for an event on March 3 where it will unveil a product that the company claims is “five years in making”. The invite reads that the product will “redefine the future of gaming” and the event will take place in San Fransisco.

Lenovo has announced P70, the company’s latest smartphone in P series in China. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 Processor processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support and is 8.9mm thick. Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update starts rolling out in India

Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) update for the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) smartphone in India. It rolled out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the smartphone about one year back. Samsung has still not revealed the list of devices that would get the Lollipop update, but it started rolling out the update for Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4 users in some markets. It is surprising that the company has not rolled out the Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 users in India yet.
