Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G went on sale in India through the official Samsung India eStore last week, today the company has officially launched the smartphone in the country. It was announced back in February and packs a 5-inch qHD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Motorola Moto G (3rd Generation) was launched in India last week starting at Rs. 11,999. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.36 GHz per core, slightly faster than the clock speed of 1.19GHz on other smartphones. It also has 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).

Sony hosting an event on 2nd September during IFA week – Might announce the XPERIA Z5

Sony already announced the XPERIA C5 Ultra and the XPERIA M5 earlier today but apparently there will an event in Berlin, a few days prior to IFA which is from 4th to 9th September. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE trails in Warangal, Telangana. It already launched 4G trails in Shillong, Rourkela, Tumkur, Manipal, Udupi, Hubli, Dharwad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Vizag, Madurai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mumbai. Sony just announced Xperia M5, the company’s latest smartphone in the M series. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-Core SoC and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with 0.25-second Hybrid Autofocus, LED flash, 4K video recording, 5x Clear Image Zoom (allows you to get close without losing any quality) and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Hybrid Autofocus uses Phase detection AF (PDAF) for faster shutter speed response and Contrast detection AF for added precision to produce crisp and clear photos, says Sony. Samsung Galaxy A8 Hands On and Photo Gallery

After launching the successor Galaxy A8 in China last month, Samsung has now brought it to India and will start selling it from today across all retail and online channels at Rs. 32,500. In the Indian variant, Samsung has left out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and is using its own Exynos 5430 chipset. Rest of the specifications are same as the Chinese Galaxy A8. Samsung Galaxy A8 launched in India for Rs. 32500

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in its A series. It was announced earlier this month in China, packs a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5mm ultra-narrow bezels and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but the Indian variant is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 5430 processor instead of Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has a full metal uni-body design, similar to the other A series smartphones and is just 5.9mm thick. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.
