Telegram update adds emoji reactions, Spoiler formatting, Message Translation and Themed QR Codes

Telegram has released the 12th update of the year that brings emoji reactions to messages, hidden text (spoilers), message translation, themed QR codes, and lots more. OnePlus 10 Pro promo surfaces revealing rear design, January 11th launch date

Earlier this month, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed the launch of OnePlus 10 Pro in January, and the company started pre-registrations for the smartphone through online platforms in China earlier this week ahead of pre-sale on January 4th from 10AM. After rumours, Samsung has officially confirmed that it will unveil its next flagship Exynos SoC with AMD GPU with custom AMD RDNA 2 architecture-based graphics on January 11th, 2022. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display, S Pen surface in press render

CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra surfaced in September, first live images of the phone surfaced in November, now the first press render of the phone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a curved screen with a centre punch-hole, quad rear cameras and an S Pen stylus bundled with the phone since this will be the first Galaxy S series phone with a built-in S Pen slot to replace the Galaxy Note series. HDMI 2.1a with Source-Based Tone Mapping to be announced at CES 2022

HDMI 2.1 was introduced back in 2017 with several features  including 4K@120Hz, 8K@60Hz, Dynamic HDR and bandwidth capability of up to 48Gbps. At the CES 2021 earlier this year, the HDMI forum highlighted new products with support for HDMI 2.1. Today, according to a new report from The Verge, the HDMI forum will introduce the HDMI 2.1a, the next generation of HDMI spec at the CES 2022. iQOO already confirmed that it will introduce the iQOO 9 series that will include the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro on January 5th. Today, it has confirmed that the iQOO 9 Pro will feature a 2K Samsung E5 AMOLED curved screen with LTPO 2.0 technology, support for 10bit color, peak brightness is 1500nit, variable refresh rate of 120Hz and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. TECNO Spark 8 Pro with 6.8-inch FHD+ display, Helio G85, up to 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery launched in India at an introductory price of Rs. 10599

TECNO has launched Spark 8 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Spark series and the successor to the Spark 7 Pro that was launched a few months back. It has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ screen with 180Hz touch sampling rate, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, 3GB of RAM expansion, and it runs Android 11 with HiOS on top. The phone has 48MP rear camera, 2MP depth, AI lens, dual LED flash and 8MP front camera with dual LED flash.

Lava AGNI 5G users get Widevine L1 support with the latest update

Lava has finally announced Widevine L1 support for its AGNI 5G smartphone after feedback from the customers. This will enable HD playback on OTT services in AGNI 5G devices. At its event today, Xiaomi also introduced its Xiaomi Buds 3, the company’s latest TWS headset with dual-magnetic dynamic driver and Hi-Fi audio. It can use the three microphones of feedforward, feedback, and talk to achieve a depth of up to 40dB noise cancellation and has three ANC modes for different scenarios. Xiaomi Watch S1 with 1.43-inch AMOLED display, Stainless steel body, Bluetooth Calling, GPS, up to 12 days battery life announced

Along with the Xiaomi 12 series and the MIUI 13, Xiaomi also announced the Xiaomi Watch S1 is with a stainless steel frame, sapphire glass, and a 1.43″ 326ppi large AMOLED touch display.  It has 117 fitness modes, come with 5ATM water resistance and promises up to 12 days of battery life. MIUI 13 announced – Check out the new features and list of Xiaomi devices getting it globally in Q1 2022

Xiaomi today introduced MIUI 13, the company’s next-generation UI for its smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. This comes after the MIUI 12 that was introduced back in April last year, MIUI 12.5 that was introduced in December last year along with the Mi 11.
