Samsung might be readying a Neo variant of the Galaxy S5 from last year. The SM_G903F just got its Wi-Fi certification and we get to know the specification of the phone that might well be the Galaxy S5 Neo.

Firstly, being a Wi-Fi certification, the document shows that the device will support dual-band Wi-Fi ie 2.5GHz and 5GHz. It will also support the latest ac standard of Wi-Fi.

Other specifications of the device are expected to be very similar to the Galaxy S5 smartphone. The Neo will have the same 5.1″ 1080p SuperAMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It will however get a new 64bit octa-core Exynos 7580 processor instead of the Snapdragon 801 that the S5 has. The rear camera also remains the same 16 Megapixel unit while the front camera gets an upgrade from 2 Megapixel to 5 Megapixel.

The Neo will also support LTE-A and will come in both single as well as dual-SIM variants. It will run Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it.
