Samsung has announced that the 8-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, 8nm (Low Power Plus) has been qualified and is ready for production. The 8nm LPP newest process node will offer 10% lower power consumption and will consume 10% less area through narrower metal pitch compared to the 10LPP.

Ultimate Ears (UE) has announced two new portable speakers; the UE BLAST and MEGABLAST with Amazon’s Alexa Voice Assistant support built-in. From the look of them, they look very identical to the previous Boom speakers from UE but differ with the internal hardware.
HTC has started sending out media invites for an event scheduled on November 2nd in Taiwan. The teaser image posted by the company reads “U” giving away more reasons to believe that HTC might be launching the much-rumored U11 Play and U11 Life.
