Apple updates App Store review guidelines to prevent app developers from sharing user data

Apple has quietly closed the loophole that lets app makers store and share data without users consent. The company last week changed its App Store rules to limit how developers use information about iPhone owners’ friends and other contacts. This indeed is a perfect move from Apple that puts an end to years of practice where developers ask users for access to their phone contacts, and then later use it for marketing without proper permissions. Vivo NEX S with 6.59-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor and NEX A with Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM announced

Vivo just introduced its flagship NEX series smartphones as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 6.59-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with ultra narrow 1.71 mm bezels on the sides, 2.16mm on the top and an 91.24% screen-to-body ratio. It doesn’t have an earpiece, instead it vibrates the screen using Screen SoundCasting Technology that promise better bass and softer treble. It uses ray data compensation algorithm that hides the light sensor at the bottom of the screen, thanks to an innovative design. The micro-slit infrared sensor is also hidden at the top of the screen. Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 aims to elevate the mobile experience

Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon 710 platform built on the 10nm process last month in China. Nokia announces completion of 5G new radio data call with 4G and 5G dual connectivity in China

5G logoNokia today has announced that it has successfully completed an end-to-end 5G New Radio (5G NR) data call. This is a part of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) 5G Technology R&D trial. The 3GPP-compliant dual connectivity call was conducted using a 5G NR system over-the-air on the 3.5GHz frequency band and LTE in the 2.1 GHz frequency band, supported by a 5G user equipment simulator provided by PRISMA Telecom Testing. Uber launches 5MB Uber Lite app for India

Uber today launched Uber Lite app in India for entry-level smartphones is less storage like Android Oreo Go Edition devices. The app is just 5MB in size, compared to 40MB Uber Android app, works even if you have limited coverage like 2G networks, and lets you book your ride in four taps.
