OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G with FHD+ 90Hz OLED display, 64MP quad rear cameras, Android 11 announced

OPPO has announced the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G smartphones in the Reno series in China, as it had promised. The Reno5 5G packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, and is powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC, while the Reno5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 92.1% screen-to-body ratio, and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. Both the phones come with 64MP quad rear cameras and a 32MP punch-hole front camera. Nokia Android 10 Go Edition phone to be announced on December 15

HMD Global today confirmed the launch of its new Android 10 Go Edition smartphone in China on December 15th. The company introduced Android Go Edition phones Nokia C1 last year Nokia C2 earlier this year in the C series, and also the Nokia C3 a few months back so this should also be a C series phone, and it is rumoured to be C1 Plus. MediaTek Dimensity 800U to power 5G smartphones in India starting January 2021

MediaTek introduced its Dimensity 800U mid-range 5G SoC back in August and it powers several 5G smartphones in China. At the India Mobile Congress 2020 the SoC announced for the Indian market and the company has confirmed that the first phone powered by the Dimesnity 800U processor will be introduced in January 2021. OnePlus 9 Pro will reportedly continue to feature IP68 water and dust resistance

It took many years for Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus to start including IP ingress protection in their smartphones, with the OnePlus 8 Pro being the first phone to feature an official IP68 rating.
