OnePlus opened its first Experience Store in India in Bengaluru last January, later it opened one in Noida. It also partnered with Croma to provide easy access to OnePlus products. Xiaomi India might be gearing up for Explorer Program for upcoming Redmi Note 5

Xiaomi has a tradition of involving Mi Fans in device exploration before the launch of Redmi Note models in India, these explorers get devices before the official launch and are expected to participate in challenges given by the company. Huawei’s Honor brand started selling the Honor 9 Lite smartphone exclusively on Flipkart on January 21st midnight, which was sold out in record 6 minutes of the sale opening, selling at a the rate of over 150 units per second. The company started selling the smartphone again on January 21st 12 noon, which sold out in 3 minutes, said the company.

Paytm, probably the most used e-wallet app in India has received a new iOS app update, which enables users to setup BHIM UPI (one-touch payment). TRAI directs RCOM to refund unspent balance, security deposit to customers

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a notice to Reliance Communication Limited regarding the refund of the unused balance and security deposit made at the time of getting the connection. This is an official statement and all the pre-paid and post-paid users are entitled under this policy. As the company hasn’t renewed the spectrum license for 2G and CDMA services, all the Reliance users were asked to port their numbers to continue to use the phone number. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today released recommendations on ‘In-Flight Connectivity’ paving the way for in-flight internet connectivity. In the recommendations, TRAI said that both IFC and MCA (Mobile communication on airspace) service should be permitted within minimum height restriction of 3000 meters in the Indian airspace.
