LeEco (Letv) Le 1s Battery Life Test

LeEco (formerly Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India at Rs. 10,999 last month exclusively on Flipkart. We already brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have its battery life test results. It has a 3000mAh built-in battery with fast charging support using the bundled fast charger. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) with LeEco’s own EUI 5.5 on top. Check out the battery test results.

Reliance Jio introduced Lyf Earth 1, Water 1 and Water 2 smartphones last month. Now the LYF Flame 1, a new 4G smartphone is listed on the official Reliance Digital website (Via). It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210, SoC, has a 5-megapixel front and rear cameras and dual SIM support. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). TRAI supports Net Neutrality, bans differential pricing

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has ruled in favour of Net Neutrality putting an end to a long on-going debate. The authority has announced that “no service provider can offer or charge discriminatory tariffs for data services on the basis of content”. TRAI has ordered the same under ‘Prohibition of Discriminatory Tariffs for Data Services Regulation’.

Qualcomm QPrize Make in India contest announced, awards Rs. 2 Crore for winning startup

Qualcomm Incorporated through Qualcomm Ventures has announced QPrize – Make in India contest in association with the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP). “The goal of this contest is to catalyze Indian entrepreneurs and the startup community to drive the entire value chain from innovation to manufacturing in India. The winner will receive an investment of Rs. 2 crores (approximately US$ 300,000),” said Qualcomm.

Apple looking forward to open retail stores in India: Tim Cook

Apple CEO Tim Cook at the Town Hall meeting at the Infinite Loop headquarters said that the Cupertino giant is in early preparations to bring its retail stores to India, reports 9to5Mac. He also said that India is one of Apple’s most important growth areas for the next decade. He commented that 4G LTE networks are not always available in an emerging market, which is why India makes for a great opportunity for Apple to sell it products.
