Airtel today announced that it has launched it has become the first operator to launch 4G in Kargil, Dras and Leh in the Ladakh region covering 130 towns and villages. This is a part of Project Leap – Airtel’s network transformation initiative. Airtel said that its network teams and partners have overcome the challenge of extremely difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, including sub-zero temperatures, to deploy a state-of-the-art 4G network in the region.

It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The Headphone comes with Versant advanced voice technology that helps to listen to music or take calls in noisy environments.
Harman International has launched the Allure voice-activated speaker in India with Amazon Alexa support. It was first introduced at the IFA 2017 event in Berlin and is capable of producing 360-degree Harman Kardon sound. It is a hands-free speaker that can be controlled with voice commands. Xiaomi launched the Mi A1, the company’s first Android One smartphone with dual rear cameras in India back in September for Rs. 14,999. Last week it announced a temporary Rs. 2000 price cut for the phone on Flipkart during its Big Shopping Days sale between December 5th and 7th as well as Mi.com. Now it has announced a permanent Rs. 1000 price cut for the phone, so the phone is now available across retailers for Rs. 13,999. OPPO launched the F5, a selfie-focused smartphone with 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen display last month, and as promised, it has launched the F5 Youth smartphone, a cheaper version of the phone. LG just sent out invites for the launch of its flagship V30+ smartphone in India on December 13th. The V30+ comes with 128GB storage compared to 64GB on the V30. It has a 6-inch (1440 × 2880 pixels) QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with LG UX 6.0+, which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

Google launched Tez payments app in India back in September. Today at the Google for India event in Delhi the company said that Tez has seen huge growth in its first 10 weeks of launch. It has processed over 140 million transactions from nearly 12 million active users and over 525,000 merchants are on Tez who pay their suppliers or transfer money to employees.
