Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia Arc , Play in India

At an event in New Delhi today , Sony Ericsson launched their flagship device , the Arc and the first Playstation certified phone , the Xperia Play. The Xperia Arc is arguable one of the slimmest Android smartphones in the world with a gentle curve on the back of the device. The gorgeous looking device comes with a large 4.2″ display powered by the Bravia Reality Engine which is supposed to make images and videos more vivid and sharp on the display. The 8MP camera on the device runs on EXMOR R technology which makes low light images brighter. The price for the Xperia Arc has been set at Rs 32,000.

Nokia X5-01 Review

Symbian is here to stay, at least for the next couple of years. So, we are here with the Nokia X5-01 review. This device was launched at CommunicAsia last June and hit Indian shores late last year.At the first look, I didn’t liked the squarish design of this device and found it a bit girly. Nokia X5-01 is an X-series phone, known for its music features. As usual, this handset comes with a special key for the music player, however the previous/rewind and next/forward keys were missing from this handset. This handset comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which helps you to type fast and stay connected with your friends on the go. Nokia X5-01 runs on the Symbian S60v3 operating system and it comes with some great features such as a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3G connectivity and more. LG Optimus Pad Hitting India In June

LG is expected to launch its first tablet device, the LG Optimus Pad in India. LG Optimus Pad is the first tablet to feature the 3D display capabilities. This device is expected to launch during June in India.

LG recently launched the much awaited Optimus 2X and Optimus Black in India. And now, the company is expected to launch its first tablet device, the LG Optimus Pad in India. This device was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona and it runs on the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) Operating System. Micromax M2 Dual SIM Music Phone

Micromax M2 is a new Dual SIM Music Phone from Micromax . The device does come in some attractive packing as we spotted at a store recently. The music is powered by a Yahama amplifier which also supports SRS WOW HD for playback. A highlight in the touch sensitive music wheel which lets you control the music playback without having to go into the menu.

Nokia plans to launch 12 new smartphones in India this year


Nokia is planning to  launch 40 new phones in India this year and among these 12 are smart phones. Nokia leads the major mobile phone market in India, but Nokia’s market share in the smart phone category is falling due to the entry of new Android phones from Samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson and LG.
