Vodafone M-Pesa customers can now withdraw cash from over 120,000 outlets

Vodafone today announced that its 8.4 million plus M-Pesa customers can withdraw cash using their digital wallet from any of the over 120,000 Vodafone M-Pesa outlets across the country, subject to availability. To avail the cash withdrawal facility, customers need to carry an identity proof to their nearest Vodafone M-Pesa outlet from where they can withdraw money, subject to availability, in line with RBI guidelines. Vodafone and ICICI Bank launch M-Pesa mobile money transfer service in Haryana

Vodafone India  partnered with ICICI Bank to launch M-Pesa, mobile money transfer and payment service back in April 2013. It was introduced in Delhi and NCR in August 2013. Now Vodafone India has launched the service in Haryana region. It offers a simple and secure way to transfer money and make payments with the security of financial transactions provided by ICICI Bank. This service offers unbanked and under serviced sections of the country to gain access to financial services via the mobile phone. Vodafone India has partnered with ICICI Bank to launch M-Pesa, a mobile money transfer and payment service. It offers a simple and secure way to transfer money and make payments with the security of financial transactions provided by ICICI Bank. Vodafone India through its subsidiary, Mobile Commerce Solutions Ltd. (MCSL) and ICICI Bank announced the M-Pesa back in November 2012.
