Vodafone India has launched a new international roaming pack for its post-paid customers in India visiting countries like UK, USA, UAE, Singapore and Thailand. It offers over 90% discount on data and approximately 64% on outgoing local and international calls. This pack is aimed at customers travelling overseas during this vacation season. The pack offers over 90% discount on data with rates as low as Rs.50/MB while roaming overseas. Outgoing local and international calls will be charged at Rs. 25/min and Rs.50/min respectively. Huawei has launched E3121 Wi-Fi Data Card in India. The E3131 Soft Wi-Fi Data Card offers download speeds up to 14.4 Mbps lets you share Wi-Fi for up to 5 devices and the Huawei Soft Wi-Fi lets you transform any laptop with a Wi-Fi adapter into a Wi-Fi hotspot with a simple software. Huawei has also announced new features for its data cards range including, Plan recommendation engine, Soft Wi-fi to create Mobile Hotspot, Windows 8 Support and user-friendly Mobile partner interface via software upgrade. Aircel to start 4G LTE trial in Chennai by the end of 2013
After the successful Aircel Blog Up event in Delhi on March 15th, Aircel conducted the Aircel Blog Up Chennai edition on 10th May 2013. At the event, K. Sankara Narayanan, Regional Head, Regional Business Head, Aircel Chennai & Tamil Nadu said that they are gearing up to start pilot run for 4G LTE services in Chennai by the end of 2013 or early 2014. Aircel has 20 MHz spectrum on 2300 MHz in 8 circles including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, North-East and Jammu & Kashmir. Asus Transformer AiO Hybrid tablet is finally coming to India. Asus has just sent over a press invite for the Transformer AiO launch event on 22nd May 2013 in India. It is actually a desktop PC with Windows 8, powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core processor with NVIDIA GT 730M graphics. Xolo has officially launched the Q700, the company’s second quad-core Android smartphone in the Q Core series. Xolo launched the Q800, the company’s first phone with a quad-core processor back in March. The Xolo Q700 surfaced online recently. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589W-M processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Nokia accessories DC-18 battery pack and BH-118 mono bluetooth headset photo gallery
Along with the Asha 501, Nokia also introduced some new gear at the grand event that happened in New Delhi. Amongst the loads of accessories displayed at the event, we spotted some new ones, which includes the Nokia DC-18, a new portable battery pack launched along with the Asha. There was also the BH-118, a mono bluetooth headset with a dock, which looked weird yet useful. The above photo is of the DC-18, of which we have more photos below and the others too.

Asus Fonepad Review
Asus launched the Fonepad in India last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the complete review of the device. The Fonepad was announced at the MWC 2013, and packs a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor. Xolo launched the Xolo X500 powered by the Atom Lexington Z2420 processor earlier this year. Nokia Asha 501 Overview and First Impressions
Nokia Asha 501, the company’s latest attempt at out-innovating the low end smartphone market, was launched today in New Delhi and we got some fair play time with the device. Based on the new Nokia Asha platform, the device was previously demoed by Nokia’s Peter Skillman, who led the whole effort of bringing the intuitive N9 UI to the low end. Karbonn A7 Star with 4.5-inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor now available for Rs. 6190
Karbonn A7 Star, successor of the A7+ is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4.5-inch (854 ×480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), similar to the Karbonn A12 that went on sale earlier this year, but this comes with 2G (EDGE) support. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, has a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. LG to release LTE TDD Smartphones in 6 countries including India in 2013
LG has announced that they would launch LTE TDD capable smartphones globally starting from Saudi Arabia with its flagship Optimus G smartphone on the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) network. LG has also confirmed that they would release LTE TDD-enabled smartphones in other countries China, India, North America, Japan and Australia later this year.
