Google Nexus 5 complete specifications revealed in leaked service manual

Specifications of the Google Nexus 5 were detailed in the leaked log file recently. Now the official sketch, images and the entire specifications have been revealed in a leaked internal service manual. The phone has a model number LG-D821 and would sport a 4.95-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). It is expected to come with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Micromax launched the Canvas 4 A210 and the Canvas Doodle 2 A240 recently with a 720p display. Now the twitter user MMXNewscaster has posted the boot animation screenshot that reveals that the name of the phone would be Canvas Turbo and the model number is A250. DroidExtra has got hold of the ROM of the device which reveals that the phone would feature a full HD display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but the display size is unknown. HTC Desire 500 now available in India for Rs. 20499

HTC Desire 500 appeared on Snapdeal last month and it appeared on Flipkart last week, now the phone is available from online retailers Saholic and Infibeam in India.  The Desire 500 was announced back in July and packs a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.  It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. The S View Cover is similar to the Galaxy S4’s S View cover that lets you see the notifications, attend calls, view missed events, camera control, action memo, music player and more without opening the cover flap. Gionee GPad G3 with a 5.5-inch display, Android 4.2 now available in India for Rs. 9699


We already reported back in August that Gionee would launch the GPad G3 soon. The phone went official recently and is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. Nokia launched the Lumia 1020, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India last week, but they did not announce the pricing. Nokia said they would announce the price only on October 10th, a day before the launch, now the phone is available for pre-order from the official Nokia Shop for Rs 49,999. The Lumia 1020 has a 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) AMOLED capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display with Pure Motion HD+ technology. MTS India is the first operator in the country to get a unified telecom license

The Cabinet has approved the New Telecom Policy 2012 back in May 2012 which was the main reason for the introduction of free roaming across the country at a nominal cost and the upcoming Full Mobile Number Portability (MNP). It also stressed on single license across India under a new unified licence regime that prevents a separate license for the operators. Now MTS India, which operates under Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) has announced that they have received its Unified Telecom License. Coke Studio @MTV app released for Windows Phone and Windows 8

The hugely popular Coke Studio show that airs on MTV India has got its app on the Windows Phone and Windows 8 platforms. With the recent push of local apps on the Windows platform, it isn’t a surprise to see another cool entrant from the Indian pop culture scene. The app is free and available for download on the Windows Phone Store for WP8 devices and on Windows Store for all Windows 8 and RT devices. The show, running in its 3rd season, got big names like Rahman and Ram Sampath for the latest one, which created excellent songs and garnered some insane attention. The app will let you download audio as well as video from inside, and is powered by the Microsoft Azure cloud technology.
