Gionee Pioneer P2S that went on sale in India on the official Gionee online Store has been officially launched in India. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with Mali 400 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It also has a new V-gesture shot that lets you capture selfies easily. Reliance Jio, Ascend Telecom sign tower sharing deal


Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Ascend Telecom Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. Under this deal, Reliance Jio would utilize Ascend Telecom’s 4500 towers across India for its 4G roll out. The company is backed by New Silk Route Growth Capital, IL&FS and the TVS Group. Sony has launched XSP- N1BT, a Smartphone Cradle Receiver that would let you turn your smartphone into a car stereo. You can use the smartphone to control music, navigation, phone calls and text messages. This lets you place the smartphone securely in the dash. The new AppRemote interface uses the smartphone’s touchscreen to control head-unit functions via Bluetooth (Android devices) or via USB (iPhone). It was unveiled back in April, went on sale few weeks back and packs a 2.8-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA LCD screen, dust and splash proof keymat and loud audio output up to 103 phon output with Donau speaker. It is just 10.4mm thick and has a curved design. S Mobility has launched Spice Stellar 360, the company’s latest smartphone in the Stellar series with a physical QWERTY keyboard. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 3G connectivity and dual SIM support, similar to other Spice smartphones. Gionee Elife S5.5 Unboxing

Back in February, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress, Gionee announced the Elife S5.5 which is currently the slimmest smartphone. The Gionee Elife S5.5 comes with a Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by MediaTek’s Octa-core SoC. It also comes with a 13MP camera module on the back. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Jalandhar


Airtel has launched 4G services in Jalandhar, Punjab.Airtel launched its 4G LTE services in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in Punjab and Haryana last March and rolled out voice services on 4G in these three cities earlier this month. It also launched its 4G services in Ludhiana earlier this month. In Jalandhar, Airtel customers can access 4G on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers) and mobile phones.
