Intex has launched India’s first phone for visually impaired, Intex Vision. This phone was unveiled by National Association for the Blind (NAB). This is a dual sim GSM phone that has braille keypad with large keys that helps visually impaired people recognize the digits and talking keypad that reads out the numbers when pressed. Nokia seems to be readying the release of another colour variant of the Nokia N8. According to a Finnish website, the Nokia N8 will be released in a pink colour variant as well.
The folks from Hackintosh India have got their hands on the Nokia C2-06 which is a Dual SIM Touch and Type phone. While the exterior of the phone mentions only C0-00 like most Nokia prototypes , the bluetooth menu reveals the name of the device as the C2-06. HP announced its smallest Web OS handset Veer this February and it was showcased at Mobile World Congress few days later. This phone was expected to launch this spring in USA. Now HP has put up an online invite to an event scheduled on May 2nd 2011.
