HP Veer Announced


HP have announced the Veer smartphone today. It is the smallest WebOS smartphone and it is described as providing a big smartphone experience into a powerfully small package.

The HP Veer is the smallest WebOS phone to date, around the same height as a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards.

The specifications of the handset are:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MHz Processor
  • 2.57″ Glass Multi-Touchscreen with 320×400 Pixels Resolution
  • Slide Out QWERTY Keyboard, 8GB Internal Memory
  • 5 Megapixel Camera with Extended Depth of Field, Geotagging and Video Recording
  • GPS,Wi-Fi, 3.5mm Audio Jack
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP
  • Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor
  • Dual Mic for Noise Cancellation
  • 910 MAH (Non-Removable) Battery
