Microsoft has updated Hyperlaspse app for Windows Phone with support for more Lumia devices. The app which lets users create time-lapse videos will now be available for older versions of Windows Phone.

Microsoft rolling out firmware update to enable 4G support for some Lumia phones in India

Microsoft India is currently rolling out a minor software update to select Lumia devices to support 4G LTE networks. As Airtel continues to roll out its 4G service across the country Microsoft saw the need to enable 4G radios on devices which have the functionality built into the hardware but lacked the necessary software. So if you are using a Microsoft or Nokia Lumia device which has support for 4G globally, you should update your device to make the jump to 4G. Microsoft Lumia 940 and 940 XL to feature polycarbonate bodies – Pricing higher than iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6

The Microsoft Lumia 940 and 940 XL rumours are slowly gaining traction. the last rumour was a leak that confirmed the existence of a Quad HD Windows phone which is most likely the 940 XL and a smaller 1080p smartphone which should be the 940. A new report now suggests that both the 940 XL as well as the 940 will sport polycarbonate bodies and will be priced higher than the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

Quad-HD Windows 10 phone confirmed – Might be the Lumia 940 XL

In April, we brought to you news about the Lumia 940 and the 940 XL. The Lumia 940 is expected to have a 5.2″ screen while the 940 XL is expected to pack a larger 5.7″ screen. An ad network has apparently listed two devices with model numbers RM-1104/1105 and RM-1100 which fall right into place with the two rumoured 940 phones.
