Evernote Peek app for iPad has been updated to version 2.1 that brings a new swipeable Virtual Cover. The Evernote Peek is a learning app designed for the iPad 2 Smart Cover. The Virtual Cover maintains the dynamics of a Smart Cover, but could be used with any iPad. Now, when you launch Peek, you’ll be able to swipe down a tab and select a Virtual Cover of your choice—it’s available in 10 colors. Choose your study materials, close the cover, peek to see the clue, open the cover more to see the answer. Shut the cover and repeat. All this is done by simply swiping the screen. Opera has launched their latest Opera Mini 6.5 with Data Usage view and bookmark import for iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian S60 and Java Phones. The Opera Mobile 11.5 browser is now also available on Symbian S60. The Data Usage view keeps count of how much data you are spending and saving in total, or for a specific time frame. A week after the Nokia Lumia 800 was announced, and less than a week after Nokia World 2011 ended, Nokia has begun sending samples of the Nokia Lumia 800 to the press. This is an impressive turnaround compared to previous years. In addition to that Nokia has also announced that the Lumia 800 will be released on 16 November, two weeks from now. Samsung has launched their new Android smartphone device, the Samsung GALAXY Note. It has 5.3 inch (1280 x 800 pixels), 285 PPI HD Super AMOLED display which is the largest on any phone till date. It features 1.4GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen for sketching and artwork. It is 9.65mm thick and weighs 178g. iOnRoad Augmented Driving app for Android uses the smartphone’s native camera and sensors to detect vehicles in front of the vehicle, alerting drivers when they are in danger. The VisualRadar, maps objects in front of the driver in realtime, calculating the user’s current speed using native sensor. It also shows audio-visual warning pops up to warn the driver of a possible collision, allowing them to brake in time. These smartphones uses both the LTE and HSPA+ 4G for a consistently fast connection in and out of LTE areas. The HTC Vivid has dual core 1.2 GHz processor 4.5-inch qHD display and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket is powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor and has 4.5-inch SuperAMOLED Plus display.
