Evernote app for Android and Windows Phone have been updated that brings the new Evernote reminders. The reminders feature brings 3 features in 1 such as reminder alarms, set Note based to-dos to Mark notes as done, pin a note to order reminder manually or by date. You can tap the alarm clock inside a note, optionally, choose a due date and time to set reminders. You can also view reminders by notebook and subscribe to reminders in shared and business notebooks. Evernote for iPhone and iPad got reminders in the version 5.3 update last month. Twitter for Windows Phone has been updated to version 3.1 that brings filter for photos finally that lets you apply different filter when you upload a photo. It also brings Lens app integration that lets you launch the capture and upload photo on Twitter directly, option to play embedded Vine videos directly from within tweets and lots more. The official Twitter app for Android and iPhone got the filters back in December last year. Twitter for Windows Phone got a new design earlier this year. Who are the top five smartphone makers in the world? Samsung and Apple would be anyone’s guess. Evidently, because of their dominant presence in the market and ever rising sale figures. LG follows next in ranking. Who do you reckon follows in the 4th spot? Blackberry, Nokia or HTC? Well, its Huawei. The Chinese telecom company is the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world, by units !

Yet, why is it that you and I rarely see a Huawei phone in Indian stores, when shopping for the latest smartphone ? Why is it that the 4th biggest smartphone maker is not visible in one of world’s biggest smartphone market? Huawei hopes to change this brand image, soon. Starting this month, Huawei will begin introducing its star smartphones and tablets, in India. The Chinese phone maker has slotted a bunch of big launches in the next quarter, too.

First up is the Huawei Media Pad 10 Link that was launched in India recently. A 10.1 inch screen tablet priced at just Rupees 24,990/- . The Media Pad 10 runs on 1.2 GHz Quad Core Huawei Hi-Silicon Processor. Operating system is the Android 4.1.

Jetpack Joyride finally arrives on Windows Phone 8

Months and years after making its presence felt on other platforms, including Windows 8, the Halfbrick hit game “Jetpack Joyride” has finally landed on the Windows Phone 8 store. It is incredibly frustrating that the Windows Phone 8 version took nearly 8 months after launching on Windows 8, and we thought Windows Phone 8 shared code with its parent. But anyways, the game is finally here and it’s free. The “endless runner + Helicopter” style gameplay is incredibly addictive and the power ups are worth playing for.

Google releases stock Android Keyboard on Google Play

Google has finally released the stock Android 4.2 keyboard on Google Play. This brings Gesture Typing that lets you glide through letters to form a word, automatic error correction, and word predictions. It offers dynamic floating preview that lets you see suggested works while gesturing and floating gesture trail. Other features include, Voice Typing, dictionaries for 26 languages, Advanced keyboard layouts that also suits tablets and more. Nokia EOS 41MP Lumia phone images surface, to be announced in July?

Nokia EOS, the company’s first Nokia Lumia PureView Windows Phone with 41MP camera was rumored to debut at the MWC 2013, but it did not happen. Now new images of the phone has surfaced from two Chinese websites ilovewp.pixnet.net and Wpdang that reveals that the phone would sport a large lens cover. The top image is a concept and image below from Wpdang that shows alleged images of the phone with a large hole for the optics and Xenon flash. The camera hump would be visible easily. Huawei has officially launched the MediaPad 10 Link, the company’s latest flagship Android tablet in India. It went on pre-order in India last week. Huawei is calling it ‘the mini theatre’. It has a 10.1-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Huawei Hi-Silicon Processor with 16 Core GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has 3G support via SIM card slot,  Dolby Surround Sound and packs a 6600 mAh battery that promises 6 hours of continuous gaming or 8 hours of continuous video playback. HTC One mini pictures and specifications leak, reportedly packs 4.3 inch 720p display and Ultrapixel camera

The HTC One mini, or whatever HTC wants to call it, has been eagerly awaited as the smaller One device which will serve the mid-high range market, for people seeking decently sized devices. Today, it has leaked out in full glory thanks to the folks at Forte, an Estonian portal. The pictures and specifications of the supposed successor to the One S were outed, which fit in with similar mid-high range specs and lower pricing. The One mini is purportedly sized at 4.3 inches with a 720p display and sports the same 4MP UltraPixel camera like on the HTC One.
